December 2003 Clubnotes - Week 1 - Tue, 2 Dec 2003

Best of luck to the Senior Footballers on Sunday against Rounds Tower?s of Kildare in the Leinster Senior Football Final. Throw-in at 2.00pm in Navan. Buses depart from the club at 12.15pm. Bookings currently been taken at the Bar. All people asked to wear as much colour as possible. Will you dye for your club? Get your hair dyed red on Sunday morning between 10.30-12.00. Meeting at 9.00pm this Tuesday for anyone interested in managing a team. Giant table quiz on Thursday the 4th of December at 8.30pm in aid of the Ladies Football & Camogie. Table of four is 20 Euro. Juvenile Trophy presentations take place on Friday at 7pm. Nursery takes place on Saturday morning at 10.00am in Beech Park. AGM takes place on the 14th of December at 5.00pm in the clubhouse. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Sweeney Family on their recent loss.

Historic Victory for the Senior Footballers on Sunday against Rounds Tower?s in the Leinster Senior Football Final on a scoreline of 3-11 to 1-10. Lads you have all done us proud. We are all looking forward to the semi-final against An Ghaeltach on the 11th of February. The Santa?s, Alter Boys and Bo?Selecta were great. Great to see such great support from the whole of Dublin. Great win for the Senior Hurlers against Craobh Chairain. AGM takes place next Sunday at 5.00pm. All members are requested to attend, as important issues will be discussed. This is the last weekend for the Nursery and Indoor Hurling. Children?s Christmas party takes place on the 21st of December at 3.00pm. Could all Juveniles return their Raffle tickets please. Congratulations to Mick Galvin on been named Dublin Player of the Year. Go on ?Galvin?. Brigie III will still be sucking diesel in 2004.

Club still very much on a high from last weeks historic win. Children?s Christmas party takes place on the 21st of December at 3.00pm. All Juveniles are asked to return their Raffle tickets. It was good to see such a good attendance at the AGM on Sunday. The club would like to wish the incoming committee the best of luck for 2004 and would also like to thank the out going committee for all their hard work during this momentous year. We would also like to thank the Social Committee for the Mull Wine Night on Sunday night. A great night was had by all. We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Children?s Christmas party was a great success and the club would like to thank all people involved. Club Dinner Dance takes place on the 24th of January. Great nights entertainment guaranteed. Contact the social committee for tickets.
