June 2004 Clubnotes - Week 5 - Tue, 29 Jun 2004

Well done to the Feile Hurlers who narrowly missed out in The Feile. You done the club proud. Club Lotto Jackpot is 5000 Euro this Thursday. Good wins for the Junior & Senior Hurlers over the weekend. Best of luck to all teams in championship action this week. Junior 9?s footballers play Skerries on Tuesday evening in Balgriffin at 7.30. Junior 1?s play Naomh Mearnog on Wednesday evening in Balgriffin at 7.45. Intermediates play Clann Mhuire on Thursday evening in Balgriffin at 7.45. Support your club. This Wednesday, a group of Chernobyl Children will visit the Nursery. All Members welcome. Framed pictures of last years success are currently on show in the clubhouse & are available for €120. Club Lotto Jackpot is 4800 Euro this Thursday and the draw takes place in the Roselawn Inn. Corporate night in Croke Park takes place this Friday. Contact Padhraic O'Dea on 0872593888 for bookings. Good wins for the Junior Hurlers & Junior 3 Footballers over the weekend. Under 6-10s Mini-Leagues were a great success. A big thank you to all people involved. Under 12 mini leagues take place this week with the finals on Saturday. Nursery Hurling Blitz takes place on Friday June 25th. On Wednesday June 30th, a group of Chernobyl Children will visit the Nursery. Framed pictures of last years success are currently on show in the clubhouse & are available for €120. Under 6s, 8s and 10s commence on Monday the 14th of June with the finals on Saturday the 19th. Under 12s commence on Monday the 21st with the finals on Saturday the 28th. Hurling Nursery takes place on Saturday at 10.00am in Beech Park & Football Nursery takes place on Friday at 6.00pm in Beech Park. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Powell family on their recent losses.
