September 2004 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 28 Sep 2004

Well done to the Ladies Minor Footballers who defeated Naomh Olafs to reach the Championship Final. Also, well done to the U16 Hurlers & U12 Ladies Footballers who defeated Parnells & Skerries Harps to reach their Championship Finals. Good wins for the Minor A & B Footballers who progressed into the next round of the championship defeating Ballyboden & Good Counsel. Well done to all involved. U21 Football Championship this Saturday versus Kilmacud Crokes in Russell Park at 1pm. Junior & Inter Hurling Championship Semi-Finals take place this Sunday versus St Judes & Crumlin. Both games taking place in Rathcoole. Throw-in at 10.30am & 12.00am. Support your club. This weeks Lotto Jackpot is 7000 Euro. September's club newsletter has been released. Good wins for the U14 Hurlers who beat St Vincent?s, U16 Camogie who defeated Ballyboden & U14 Ladies footballers who defeated St Sylvester?s. Club Lotto has resumed. This weeks Lotto Jackpot is 6800 Euro. U21 Hurling Championship this Saturday versus Kilmacud Crokes in Silver Park at 2pm. Minor Championship Replay versus Ballyboden takes place this Sunday at 10.30am in Pairc Ui Murchu. Support your Club. Foundation Level Hurling Course was a great success. Well done to Martin & Tom. Further new courses to be announced in the coming months. Nursery Football has resumed, 10:00am in Beech Park every Saturday, Hurling Nursery takes place @ 5:45pm in Beech Park every Friday evening. Congratulations to Eoin Kennedy who defeated Barry Goff of Wexford to win the All-Ireland Senior Singles title on Saturday evening in Croke Park. In a thrilling encounter, Eoin won on a score-line of 21-17, 21-16. Well done to Elaine Kelly, Elaine Murphy & Louise Keegan on reaching the All Ireland Ladies Football Final with the Dublin Senior Ladies. Best of Luck to all Ladies Juvenile Football teams in championship action this weekend. Foundation Level Hurling Course Practical takes place this Friday from 7.00pm until 9.30pm in the Sports Hall. Hard Luck to the Senior Camogie team last Saturday who were defeated by Skerries in the championship final. You have done the club proud. Hard fought draws for the Intermediate Footballers in the championship semi-final and Junior 3 Footballers in top of the table clash over the weekend. Club Lotto has resumed.
