April 2005 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 26 Apr 2005

Congratulations to Dabhach Dineen, James Brogan & the Dublin U21 Footballers who defeated Kildare in the Leinster Football Final. Congratulations to Daire Plunkett and Jamie Winters who reached the Leinster U15 B handball final after wins this week against Kildare and Carlow. Congratulations to club member Wille Supple who played in Goals for Ipswich Town's winning FA Cup Youth Team over the weekend. Good wins over the weekend for the Senior & Junior 8 Football teams. Also, well done to the U15 & U16 Hurlers who had good wins over the weekend. Club Lotto Jackpot is 5000 Euro this Thursday & the draw takes place in the Roselawn Inn. Meeting of Adult Games Committee takes place this Thursday at 9pm. A mentor from each adult team is expected to attend. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Sweeney Family on their recent loss. Fitness for Football Lecture takes place this Wednesday from 8pm-9.15pm. Mentors & Players should attend this highly educational lecture. Ladies Fashion Show was a great success. Well done to all involved. Good wins over the weekend for the Junior 1, Junior 2 teams. Also well done to the Ladies Minor Footballers who defeated St Thomas's & Senior Ladies who defeated Naomh Barrog. U9, U11 Hurlers & U13 Ladies Footballers had good wins over the weekend. Meeting of Adult Games Committee this Thursday from 9pm-10pm. A mentor from each adult team is expected to attend. Well done to Dabhach Dineen who scored a last minute goal to help Dublin U21 Footballers to a draw with Kildare in the Leinster Final. Replay takes place this Sunday at 1.45pm in Croke Park. Foundation Level Football Coaching Course takes place this Wednesday & Thursday. The Theory of the course will take place on Wednesday from 7pm-9.30pm while the Practical area of the course takes place on Thursday from 7pm-9.30pm. Ladies Fashion Show will take place this Saturday. A great nights entertainment guaranteed. Tickets are available now from Imelda Murphy on 8224714 or Marie Norton on 8214914. Club Lotto Jackpot is 4600 Euro this Thursday.The Club Mentors Night was a great success & a big thank you to all involved. Good wins over the weekend for the Senior, Junior 1, Junior 2, Junior 8, U15 Football teams. Best of Luck to Dabhach Dineen & James Brogan who play for Dublin in the U21 Leinster Final this Saturday vs Kildare. Throw-in at 6.30pm in Navan. Congratulations to Paddy Andrews who has been selected for Dublin Minor Championship Panel. Well done to Club Coaches Martin Kennedy & Tom Broderick who ran the hugely successful Easter Camp with over 200 kids attending. Keep up the Good Work.

Fitness for Hurling & Camogie Lecture takes place tonight from 8pm-9.15pm. Mentors & Players should attend this highly educational lecture. Well done to the U15 & U16 Hurlers who had a trilling wins over the weekend. Good wins for all Adult Footballs teams over the weekend. The Club Mentors Night will take place this Friday from 8pm. Whether you are in charge of a team or helping out with a team or in the club in any way, you are very welcome. A great night is promised, guest speakers, music and dancing. Ladies Fashion Show will take place on Saturday 16th of April. A great nights entertainment guaranteed with your very own good-looking members modelling.
