August 2005 Clubnotes - Week 5 - Tue, 30 Aug 2005

Congrats to Eoin Kennedy who defeated Tom Sheridan of Meath to reach the All Ireland Singles Semi-Final. Eoin now faces Barry Goff of Wexford on September 10th. Well done to Louise Keegan & the Dublin Ladies who defeated Tyrone to reach the All-Ireland Semi-final versus Galway. Best of luck to Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jensen who face Tom Sheridan & Carl Browne of Meath in the All-Ireland Doubles Semi-Final this Saturday in Mullingar at 8pm. Some fine wins by the Senior, Inter, Junior 1, Junior 2 & Junior 8 Footballers over the last week. The U15 Hurlers also had a good win over Kilmacud Crokes. Hard Luck to Peadar, Barry, Declan & the Dubs. Club Golf Classic was a great success & a big thank you to all involved. Brush Shields concert takes place in Russell Park on Friday, September 9th. Congrats to Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jensen who defeated Barry Goff & Gavin Buggy of Wexford to advance to the All-Ireland Doubles Semi-Finals. Best of Luck to Eoin as he faces Tom Sheridan of Meath this Saturday in the All Ireland Singles Semi-Final. Two great wins for the Senior Hurlers over St Judes & Naomh Mearnog in the Championship. Also a fine win by the U15 Hurlers over Cuala. Best of Luck to Peadar, Barry, Declan & the Dubs versus Tyrone this Saturday. Also, best of Luck to Louise Keegan & the Dublin Ladies versus Tyrone this weekend. Hard Luck to Aidan O'Leary & the Dublin Minor Hurlers who made their to exit to Limerick in the All-Ireland Hurling Semi-Final. Pride of Place goes to the Ladies Senior Footballers who fought back superbly from 9 Points down to defeat Parnells to be crowned County Champions. Well done to all involved. Ticket Book for the All-Ireland Q-Final Replay on August 27th closes tonight.
