July 2005 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 26 Jul 2005

Great win for the Intermediate Footballers who defeated Skerries in the Championship Q-Final. The Junior D Championship Match vs Garda was postponed. New Date & Venue to be announced. Good wins for the Junior 1 & Junior 8 Football teams in the League over the weekend. Club Lotto Jackpot is 7600 Euro this Thursday. The 1st week of the Club Summer was a great success. Well done to all involved. The Summer Camp continues with Week 2 on Monday August 15th to 19th August. Week 3 runs from Monday August 22nd to 26th August. Inter Hurlers face Civil Service in Championship at 7.30pm in Russell Park while the Junior Hurlers face St Marks in Championship at 7.30pm in the Phoenix Park. Senior Ladies Football Championship Semi-Final takes place on Wednesday August 3rd in Russell Park.

Congrats to Barry Cahill, Peadar Andrews, Declan Lally & the Dubs on winning the Leinster Title. Well done to Louise Keegan & the Dublin Ladies who defeated Kildare to reach the Leinster Final. Hard Luck to Noelle Healy & Shona Barrett & the Dublin U16 Ladies Footballers who were defeated by Cork in the All Ireland Final. Best of Luck to Alan Nolan, Sean O'Sullivan & the Dublin U21 Hurlers this Wednesday in the Leinster U21 Hurling Final versus Kilkenny in Dr Cullen Park Carlow at 7.30pm. Great wins for the Inter & Junior hurling teams in the Championship over the weekend. Football Championship Quarter-Finals this week with the Inter Footballers facing Skerries Harps this Friday at 7.30pm in the Naul. Also the Junior 8 Footballers face Garda this Saturday at 5pm in Pairc Barrog. Support your club. Club Summer Camp continues with Week2 on Monday August 15th to 19th August. Great wins for all the adult football teams over the weekend. Well done to Minor Hurlers who had a fine win against Round Towers. Hurling Championship this week with the Inter Hurlers facing Erins Isle this Wednesday at 7.30pm in Russell Pk. Junior Hurlers face St Brendan's this Thursday at 7.30pm in Russell Pk. Club Summer Camp starts next Monday. Week 1 runs from Monday July 18th to 22nd July. Week 2 runs from Monday August 15th to 19th August. Week 3 runs from Monday August 22th to 26th August. Congratulations to Aidan O'Leary & the Dublin Minor Hurlers on their historic Leinster Final victory over Wexford. Best of luck to Paddy Andrews & the Dublin Minor Footballers vs Laois this Sunday in Dr Cullen Park at 7pm in the Championship. Congratulations to Shona Barrett, Noelle Healy & the Dublin Ladies U16 Footballers who defeated Mayo to reach the All-Ireland Football Final. Well done to the Intermediate & Junior hurlers who had championship victories last week. U15 Hurlers who had a great win over Erins Isle. Club Lotto Jackpot is 7000 Euro this Thursday. Hard Luck to the Junior Canogie who were defeated in the Open Cup Final. Best of Luck to the Senior Camogie vs Erins Isle tonight in Finglas in Championship at 7.30pm. Ticket book for the Leinster Football Final closes this Thursday. The club extends its deepest sympathies to the Foy Family on their recent loss. The Club BBQ was a great success, well done to all involved.
