June 2005 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 28 Jun 2005

Club Mini Leagues were a massive success & a big thank to everybody involved. Congrats to the Intermediate & Junior 8 footballers who had championship victories last week. Well done to Alan Nolan, Sean O Sullivan and the Dublin U21 Hurlers who defeated Offaly in the Championship. Well done to Aidan O'Leary & the Dublin Minor Hurlers who defeated Kilkenny in the Championship. Leinster Final versus Wexford takes place this Sunday in Croke Park. Congrats to Scoil Bhride Blanchardstown girls who won Corn Haughey in the Cumann na Mbunscoil finals in Croke Park. The girls have achieved the double this year having won Corn Comhar Linn in December. 8 St Brigids players were represented on the winning team, Eileen Guinan, Emma Devitt, Ebun Oladeru, Aine Murcha, Emma O'Lone, Sophie Freeman, Siobhan Cahill and Sarah Connolly. Congratulations to Enya Farrell & the Dublin U14 Ladies Football team who defeated Donegal to win the All Ireland Title. Hurling Development Draw was a massive success & a big thank you to everybody involved. Best of Luck to all Adult Football teams in Championship this week. Inter Footballers face James Gaels tonight at 7.30 in O'Toole Park. Junior 1 Footballers face Kilmacud Corkes in Pairc De Burca at 7.30 this Wednesday. Junior 8 Footballers face Raneleagh Gaels in Longmeadows this Thursday at 7.30. Support your club. Well done to Barry, Peadar, Declan & the Dubs who defeated Wexford on Sunday. Congratulations to Eoin Kennedy who won his third consecutive All Ireland Senior Singles Hardball title defeating Dessie Keegan of Mayo. Tickets for U2?s Croke Park Gig are up for grabs in the Hurling Development Draw this Friday. Guinness Promotion also takes place this Friday from 8.30pm. Great night guaranteed. Well done to the Ladies Senior Footballers who topped their group & qualify for the Championship Semi-Finals. Great wins over the weekend for all the Adult Football Teams.
