October 2005 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 25 Oct 2005

Great win for the Senior Hurlers over St Pats in the Championship over the weekend. They now qualify for the Championship Semi-Finals. Congrats to the U12 Ladies Footballers who defeated Kilmacud Crokes to reach the Championship Final. Hard Luck to the Ladies Minor Footballers who were narrowly defeated by Fingallians in the Championship. Well done to the Senior Camogie who drew with Raheny. A Big Welcome to new club coach John Ryan. Hurling Nursery resumes this Friday evening with indoor training in Russell Park. Football Nursery resumes this Saturday morning in Russell Park. Best of Luck to the Junior Hurlers versus St Marks in the Championship Semi-Final this Sunday. Throw-in at 1pm in Good Counsel's ground in Galtymore Road. Support your club. Club Lotto Jackpot is 9600 Euro this Thursday. New opening hours for the Club Hurling Shop. The shop will now open from 8pm-8.30pm on Thursday nights.

Juvenile Meeting takes place tonight at 9pm in Russell Park. Important that all mentors attend. Great win for the Senior Hurlers over Erins Isle in the Championship over the weekend. Congrats to the Ladies Minor Footballers who defeated Kilmacud Crokes in the Championship. Well done to the Minor Footballers who defeated St Thomas's to progress in the Championship. Best of Luck in the next round. Senior Hurlers are in Championship Action this Saturday versus St Pats of Palmerstown at 4.00pm in Glenaluine Park. Support your club. Club Lotto Jackpot is 9400 Euro this Thursday. Draw taking place in Russell Park. Congrats to John "Stress" Dunning on his marriage to Edel over the weekend. New opening hours for the Club Hurling Shop. The shop will now open from 8pm-8.30pm on Thursday nights. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Sullivan family on their recent loss.

Congrats to the Inter Footballers on their superb win in the Championship Final. Well done to the Junior 8 Footballers who drew with Round Towers in a thrilling Championship Final. Hard Luck to the Ladies Footballers who lost to the Wexford Champions in the Leinster Semi-Final. Well done on such as great year. Great wins for the Senior, Junior 1 & Junior 2 footballers over the weekend. Presentation to Martin Kennedy takes place this Thursday in the Club Lounge. We would like to thank Martin for all the hard work & the best of luck in Australia. Next Juvenile Meeting takes place on Tuesday the 18th of October at 9pm. The Junior 8?s face Round Towers at 1.30pm in Parnell Park while the Inters face St Judes at 4.30pm in Parnell Park. Support your club. Best of Luck to the Ladies Seniors who face the Wexford Champions in the Leinster Semi-Final this Sunday at 3pm in Gorey. Minor Footballers also face Kilmacud Crokes in Championship 1st Round at 11.0 on Sunday in Pairc de Burca. "Who wants to be a thousandaire" takes place this Friday in Russell Park. Tickets are still available from the club bar for a truly amazing night. Club Lotto Jackpot is 9000 Euro this Thursday. New opening hours for the Club Hurling Shop. The shop will now open from 8pm-8.30pm on Thursday nights. For anyone who didn't make into Croke Park to witness Eoin Kennedy's historic All Ireland Triumph's, they will get a second chance to see Eoin in action in both the Singles & Doubles Final's on RTE 2 this Friday at 8pm on OB Sport.
