September 2005 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 27 Sep 2005

Congrats to Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jenson who won the All-Ireland Senior Doubles Handball Title. Well done Eoin on such a great year. Well done to the Intermediate Footballers who defeated St Pats & the Junior 8 Footballers who defeated St Vincents in their respective Championship Semi-Finals. Congratulations to the U12 Camogie team who beat Balliteer St. Johns to reach the Championship semi final scheduled for Saturday 1st October in the Phoenix Park. Best of luck girls. Junior Hurlers face Liffey Gaels in League Final this Saturday at 4.30pm in Park Barrog. Senior Hurlers face Naomh Olaf in Championship this Sunday at 11.0 in Pairc Ui Bhriain. Support your club. "Who wants to be a thousandaire" takes place on Friday October 7th in Russell Park. Tickets are available from the club bar for a truly amazing night. Club Lotto Jackpot is 8800 Euro this Thursday. Draw taking place in The Roselawn Inn. New opening hours for the Club Hurling Shop. The shop will now open from 8pm-8.30pm on Thursday nights. Next Round of the Leinster Championship for the Senior Ladies will take place on Saturday October 8th. Calling all young people who can sing, do Irish dancing, play traditional music, do a recitation, produce a sketch, or take part in quizzes. Congrats to the Ladies Footballers on another fine performance defeating St Marys of Leixlip to advance to the Leinster Championship Semi-Finals. Best of Luck to Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jenson vs Dessie Keegan & Joe McCann of Mayo in the All-Ireland Doubles Final this Saturday in Croke Park. Get into Croke Park & Give Eoin the support he deserves. Great win for the Senior Hurlers over Faughs in the Championship. Hard Luck to the Inter Hurlers who were defeated by Civil Service. Inter Footballers face St Sylvesters / St Pats in Championship Semi-Final this Saturday at 4pm in O'Toole Park. Junior 8 Footballers face St Vincents in Championship Semi-Final this Saturday at 4.30pm in Park Barrog. Minor Hurlers face Cuala in Championship 1st Round in Hyde Park at 11.0 this Sunday. Support your club. Can all member please return their Score Forecast Cards to the Bar by this Saturday. Well done to the U13 Hurlers who captured the League title over the weekend. The Club Hurling Festival was a great success & a big thank you to all involved. Senior Hurlers Championship Match versus St Oliver Plunketts tonight has been called off. Juvenile Meeting takes place tonight at 9pm.
