December 2006 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 12 Dec 2006

Club AGM takes place this Thursday from 8.30pm in Russell Park. With such good work being done on & off the field during the year, it is important all members attend to drive the club to the next level. A Superb one point win for the Senior 2 Footballers over Naomh Mearnog on Sunday to retain their Senior League Status. Junior 1 Footballers face St Monica's in an important League Clash this Sunday at 11.0 in Parnell's Grounds in Collinstown Lane. Get out there & support the lads. Congrats to St Brigids Nation School in Castleknock who completed the Cumann na mBunscoil double. Firstly, the Girls put on a spectacular show to retain the handsome Austin Finn trophy & complete a three in a row, and they were followed on stage by their brilliant boys team who lifted the Corn Cumann na nGael. Hard Luck to Aodhn McEnerney & the Dublin Colleges who went down by a single point to Good Counsel of Wexford in the Leinster Semi-Final. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in the Russell Park & the Jackpot is still a massive ?15000. Club Xmas Party was a huge success & well done to Mick Hanley and everyone who helped out.
