February 2006 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 28 Feb 2006

Please check the club website for Information on the replay. Congrats to Paddy Andrews who was selected for the Ireland U17 Team that will travel to Australia this Easter. Best of Luck to Loiuse Keegan who has moved to Galway. A Big thank you from all in St Brigids. Hard Luck to Castleknock Community School who were edged out by St Peters of Dunboyne in the Leinster Football Final. Congrats to Eoin Kennedy who won his 3rd Vodafone Handball All-Star, his 2nd in succession. Well done from all in St Brigids & the best of luck in the coming year. Fine wins for the Senior 2 Footballers over Raheny & Noel Cassidy's Junior 1 Footballers over St Margaret's. Voilet Muldoon's Junior 1 Footballers drew with Crumlin while the Junior 9 Footballers had a fine win over St Peregrines. Hard Luck to the Ladies Minor Footballers who were defeat by Fingillians in the League Play-off. Congrats to the U8 Footballers who defeated St Thomas's. Also a fine win for the U16 Footballers who defeated Cuala in the Championship. Club Lotto Jackpot is €10800 this Thursday in The Roselawn Inn. Support your club. Congrats to the U21 Hurlers who fought back superbly to defeat Na Fianna by 1 point in the Championship 1st Round & now face DIT. This game may take place this coming weekend. A Historic Day last Saturday when An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern for turned the sod on Phase One of the Development. Also, a Big thank to All-Ireland winning Cork Captain Sean Og O'Halplian for visiting Russell Park and presenting the Juvenile's with their medals. Check out the club website for pictures of Bertie & Sean Og. A Big thank you to Eammon & Nancy Dunning for their hospitality. Congrats to the Junior 2 Footballers who fought back superbly to defeat St Pregrines by 7 points in the Promotion Final to be promoted to Junior 1 Football. Special thanks to Noel Cassidy, Sean Cunningham & Paddy Duffy for their effort all year. Well done to the Junior 8 Footballers who defeated St Thomas's to reach the League Promotion Final where they will meet Round Towers or Ballyfermot this Sunday.
