July 2006 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 25 Jul 2006

The Ticket Book for the Dubs All-Ireland Quarter-Final closes this Thursday Night. Best of Luck to Alan Nolan & the Dublin U21 Hurlers in the Leinster Final versus Kilkenny this Thursday at 7.30pm in Kilkenny. Superb wins for the Junior B & Junior C Footballers who advance to the Championship Quarter-Finals after wins over Templeogue & St Vincents away. Hard Luck to the Senior 2's & Junior A Footballers. Best of Luck to the Senior & Junior Hurlers in Championship Action this weekend. The Seniors take on Commericals at 3pm in O'Toole Park on Saturday while the Juniors take on St Vincents at 11.0 in Naomh Nh Uinsionn on Sunday. Support your club. Busy week of Football Championship ahead with 4 of the Adult teams in action. The Senior 2 Footballers face Fingallians at 7pm this Saturday in Lusk. On Sunday, the Junior A Footballers face Round Towers at 11.0 in the Community Centre in Clondalkin. The Junior B Footballers face Templeogue Synge Street at 12.30 in Dolphin Park. The Junior D Footballers face St Vincents in Pairc Ni Uinsionn at 3pm. Support your club. Club Lotto Jackpot is a massive €15000 this Thursday in The Vineyard. Support your club. Congrats to the U16 Hurlers who won the Carolw Inter-Club All-Ireland Hurling Tournament taking the scalps of several Kilkenny & Cork clubs in the process. Well done to Eoin Kennedy who captained the Ireland team who travelled to Spain to take on the Basques. Best of Luck to Paddy Andrews & the Dublin Minor Footballers this Wednesday versus Offaly in the Leinster Semi-Final. Throw-in at 7.30pm in Portlaoise.The Gala BBQ & Medal Presentation evening due to take place this Friday has been postponed. A new date will be announced. Fine week for the Junior Footballers in the Club. The Junior A Footballers defeated Kilmacud Crokes & Raheny while the Junior B Footballers defeated Sciol Ui Chonaill & Naomh Barrog. The Junior C Footballers defeated St Pats of Donabate while the Junior D Footballers had a fine win over Ballyboden Wanderers. Well done to Ladies Senior Footballers who defeated Lucan Sarsfields.
