March 2006 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 28 Mar 2006

Best of Luck to Eoin Kennedy as he faces Tom Brady of Cavan in the All Ireland 40 by 20 Handball Final this Saturday in Cappagh. Eoin is the 4th game on with the 1st game starting at 4pm. Also, well done to Eoin & Egin Jenson on reaching the All Ireland 40 by 20 Final after defeating Dessie Keegan & Joe McCann of Mayo. Very Important Notice Regarding Club Membership, Players must have paid their membership by April 7th or else they cannot play. Congrats to U12 Footballer Daragh Henry who togged out in Parnell Park on Saturday Night. Fine wins for the Senior, Junior A, Junior C Footballers, the Minor Hurlers & U16 Footballers over the weekend. Club Mentors Night will take place on Saturday April 8th. Live Music & Great craic guaranteed. Club Lotto Jackpot is €11800 this Thursday in The Roselawn Inn. Support your club. March 2006 Clubnotes - Week 3 - Tue, 21 Mar 2006

Well done to the U21 Footballers on their superb win over Round Towers in the Championship Quarter-Final. Best of luck in the Semi-Finals where they face Kilmacud Crokes. The Adult Hurlers travelled to Ballinskelligs in Kerry for the weekend with Abbeydorney providing the opposition. It was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend for all & a Big Thank You to Fintan O'Sullivan for organising the trip. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Kelly & O'Reilly families on their recent losses. Club Lotto Jackpot is €11600 this Thursday in Russell Park. Support your club. March 2006 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 14 Mar 2006

Congrats to Eoin Kennedy who defeated Tom Healy of Cork to reach the 40 * 20 All Ireland Handball Final where he will face Paul Brady of Cavan on Saturday April 1st. Also well done to Eoin on reaching the All Ireland Doubles Semi-Final with Egin Jenson of Na Fianna. Best of Luck to the U21 Footballers in their Championship Replay versus Round Towers this Friday at 10.30am in Parnell?s grounds in Collinstown Lane. Support your club. Hard Luck to the U21 Hurlers who were narrowly defeated in the Championship Replay by DIT. Well done to the U16 Footballers who defeated St Oliver Plunketts in the Championship Group Stage. A fine win for the Junior D Footballers over Naomh Barrog. Junior 1 Local Derby was called off while the Senior 2 Footballers who drew with St Judes. Congrats to Declan Lally on being selected on the Datapac Hotshots team for his fine performances in the Sigerson Cup. Club Lotto Jackpot is €11400 this Thursday in Russell Park. Support your club. "There's no show like a Joe show" was definitely the case on Saturday Night when a massive crowd attended the Joe Dolan Concert. A Big thank you to all who helped make the concert such a success. Best of Luck to the U21 Hurlers in their Championship Replay versus DIT this Sunday at 4.15pm in Parnell Pk. The U21 Footballers drew with Round Towers in the Championship in a tight game. Best of Luck to all the Adult Football Teams this weekend with the Leagues commencing. Highlight of the games being the clash of our two Junior Football Teams at 11.0 in Russell Park on Sunday. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Kavanagh Family on their recent loss. A fine win for the Junior A Footballers over St Finian?s of Newcastle.
