November 2006 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 28 Nov 2006

A Fine weekend on the playing fields, with the Junior C Footballers sealing the League Title with a win over Na Dubhgail. The Junior B Footballers won the Stacey Cup defeating Oliver Plunketts with ease. The U12 Hurlers captured the Division 1 League Title defeating Fingallians. Well done to U11B Footballers who defeated Castleknock to win their Cup Final while the U11 A Footballers lost out to Clontarf in their Final. Congrats to Aodhn McEnerney who started corner forward for the Dublin Colleges Hurlers who defeated Roscrea. Well done to Senior Hurling Goalkeeper Alan Nolan who won a Dublin Bus Blue Star. Congrats to Anne Kirwan who is Captain of the Dublin Minor Camogie Team. The Dubs recently beat Offaly to book a place in the Leinster Final. Annual Club Christmas Party takes place on Friday 8th December. All club members and friends welcome, music by Shaun Dixon, refreshments provided from 8.30pm. Ladies Footballers AGM takes place on Monday December 4th at 8pm. Camogie AGM takes place on Wednesday November 29th at 8pm. Club AGM takes place on Thursday December 14th. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in the Roselawn Inn & the Jackpot is still a massive €15000. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Holmes family on their recent loss.

November 2006 Clubnotes - Week 3 - Tue, 21 Nov 2006

Hard Luck to the U14 Hurlers who were edged out by St Kevins in their Championship Decider. Congrats to the U12 Hurlers who defeated Fingallians to claim the Division 1 Hurling League Title. Well done to all & a Big Thank-you to all Management Team's for their efforts all year. Fine League wins for the Senior 2, Junior A & Junior C Footballers. Hard Luck to the U21 Footballers who were just edged out by Lucan in their Championship Semi-Final. Best of Luck to the Junior B Footballers in the Stacey Cup Final this Sunday versus St Oliver Plunketts at 11.0 in O'Toole Park. Congrats to Peader Andrews who was nominated for the Dublin Bus Blue Stars. Ladies Footballers AGM takes place on Monday December 4th at 8pm. Camogie AGM takes place on Wednesday November 29th at 8pm. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Park & the Jackpot is still a massive €15000. The Club Hurling Shop is closed for the rest of the year while the Main Shop continues to open every Thursday evening from 7pm-8pm.

November 2006 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 14 Nov 2006

Superb win for the Minor B Footballers over Sylvesters to claim the League Title. Hard Luck to U15 Footballers who were edged out by Round Towers in their Championship Final. Well done to all & a Big Thank-you to all Management Team's for their efforts all year. Junior A Hurlers turned in a fine performance to defeat Faughs. Junior B Footballers advanced to the Stacey Cup Final with a convincing win over Bank Of Ireland. U21 Footballers defeated St Marys in the Championship Q-Final last week & now face Lucan this Wednesday at 8pm in Saggart. Please get out to Saggart and support the lads. Congrats to Alan Nolan who was nominated for the Dublin Bus Blue Stars. Best of Luck to the U14 Hurlers in their Championship Final this Sunday. The Venue & Time have yet to be confirmed so please check the club website for further details later this week. Club AGM takes place on Thursday December 14th. Ladies Footballers AGM takes place on Monday December 4th at 8pm. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Park & the Jackpot is still a massive €15000. The Club Hurling Shop is closed for the rest of the year while the Main Shop continues to open every Thursday evening from 7pm-8pm.

November 2006 Clubnotes - Week 1 - Tue, 7 Nov 2006

Superb win for the U15 Footballers over Scoil Ui Chonail in their Championship Semi-Final. They now face Round Towers in the Championship Final this Sunday. Please check the club website for further details later this week. Well done to the U21 Footballers who performed superbly to edge out Na Fianna after a replay & extra-time. The lads face St Mary's this Wednesday at 8pm in Saggart for a place in the Semi-Final versus Lucan. Hard Luck to the U21 B Footballers who went out to Clontarf. Fine League Wins for the Junior B & C Footballers verses Balinteer & Ballyfermot. Hard Luck to the Minor Hurlers who were edged out by Whitehall in their Championship Semi-Final. Congrats to Alan McCarrick & Philip Carroll who were part of the Dublin U16 Development squad who defeated Meath to win the Leinster Title. Club AGM takes place on Thursday December 12th. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in The Vineyard & the Jackpot is still a massive €15000.
