October 2006 Clubnotes - Week 5 - Tue, 31 Oct 2006

Congrats to the U12 Ladies Footballers who defeated Kilmacud Crokes to win the Division 1 Shield. Best of Luck to the Minor Hurlers this Sunday in their Championship Semi-Final versus Whitehall this Sunday at 11.0 in Cloghran. U15 Footballers face Scoil Ui Chonaill this Sunday at 10.30 in Russell Park in their Championship Semi-Final. U14 Hurlers also face St Kevins this Sunday in their Championship Final. Please check the website as the Venue & Time are yet to be confirmed. Get out there & support the lads. Hard Luck to the Junior Hurlers who lost out to Liffey Gaels in their Championship decider. It was a tremendous achievement to reach the Final. Well done to Shauna O'Sullivan who was awarded U15 Dublin Camogie Player of the Year. U21 A Footballers face Na Fianna this Wednesday in O'Tooles Grounds in Blunden Drive at 8pm in their Championship opener. This game will not go ahead if Na Fianna win their Senior Championship Semi-Final. U21 B Footballers face Clontarf at 8pm in Edenmore this Wednesday in their Championship opener. This game will definitely go ahead. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Park & the Jackpot is still a massive €15000.

October 2006 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 24 Oct 2006

Superb Championship wins for the U15 Footballers & U14 Hurlers last weekend. The U15 Footballers defeated Whitehall to reach the Championship Semi-Final where they will face Naomh Mearnog or Scoil Ui Chonail in two weeks time. The U14 Hurlers defeated St Oliver Plunketts to reach the Championship Final where they will face St Kevins. Best of Luck to the Junior Hurlers this Sunday in their Championship Final versus Liffey Gaels at 2pm in O'Toole Park. U21 Hurlers face Lucan in the Championship this Wednesday at 8pm in Clanna Gael Fontenoy's Ground in Ringsend. Get out there & support your club. If the lads win they will be out again this Saturday vs Round Towers or St Vincents. Please check the website for further updates. Superb League Wins for the Junior B & C Footballers in top of the table clashes versus Naomh Olaf & Whitehall. Fine League win for the Senior Footballers over Trinity Gaels. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in The Roselawn Inn & the Jackpot is still a massive €15000.

October 2006 Clubnotes - Week 3 - Tue, 17 Oct 2006

Best of Luck to the Minor Hurlers this Sunday in their Championship Semi-Final versus Whitehall at 11.0 in Cloghran. U21 A Footballers face Na Fianna in the Championship this Wednesday at 8pm in St Vincents Grounds while the U21 B Footballers face Clontarf at 1pm in St Annes Park this Saturday. Please check the website before travelling because both of these games are not certain to go ahead. Hard Luck to the U15 Camogie Team who were narrowly beaten by St Vincents in their Championship decider. Tremendous achievement to reach the Final. Well done to Emma Sweeney who was awarded Player of the Game. Hard Luck to the Ladies Junior Footballers who narrowly went down to Ballymun in their Cup Final. Well done on reaching the Final. Fine win for the U13 Hurlers over Na Fianna in the Division 2 League Final. The U14 Hurlers drew with Oliver Plunketts in the Championship Semi-Final. Well done the U15 Footballers on their recent win over St Marks in the Championship. Best of Luck versus Whitehall in the Championship Q-Final this Sunday morning in Russell Park. Fine wins for the Senior B, Junior B & C Footballers over the weekend. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Park & the Jackpot is still a massive €15000. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the McCauley Family on their recent loss.

October 2006 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 10 Oct 2006

Important Juvenile Meeting takes place this Tuesday at 9pm in Russell Park. It is important that all mentors attend because teams need to book their time slots for the New All Weather Pitch. The "Go" Games are also on the agenda. Fine League wins for the Senior A & Junior B Footballers over Erin's Isle & Wanderers. Great win for the Minor Hurlers over Round Towers in their Final Championship Game. Hard Luck to the U16 Hurlers who bowed out to Ballyboden in their Championship Semi-Final. Last weekend saw the Footballers of Ballinskelligs, County Kerry visit Russell Park for a challenge game. A great weekend was had by all & a Big Thank You to everyone who helped out. Well done to Declan Lally & Barry Cahill who helped Leinster overcome Ulster in the Inter-provincial Semi-Finals. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in The Vineyard & the Jackpot is still a massive €15000. Junior Hurlers Championship Final versus Liffey Gaels or O'Dwyers has been fixed for Sunday October 29th.

Congrats to the Junior Hurlers who produced a great team performance against St Marks to advance to the Championship Final. Best of Luck to the U16 Hurlers who face Ballyboden St Enda's this Saturday at 3.30pm Away in the Championship Semi-Final. Please check the club website as the Venue & Time have to be confirmed by the Board. The Senior 2 Footballers face Naomh Barrog in a crucial League Fixture this Saturday at 5pm in Russell Park. Best of Luck to the Minor Hurlers versus Round Towers this Sunday at 11am in Monstary Road in their Final Championship Group Game. The Junior 1 Footballers face St Monica's in a crucial League Game at 11am in Russell Park on Sunday. Get out & give the lads the support they deserve. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Park & the Jackpot is still a massive €15000.
