January 2007 Clubnotes - Week 5 - Tue, 30 Jan 2007

Well done to Colm Hawkes who along with his Na Fianna partner Niall Mckenna won the Dublin U12 Handball Doubles Final. Club Anniversary Mass takes place this Friday at 7.30pm in Russell Park. Presentation of Medals for the 2005/2006 Season will take place after the mass. Light Refreshments, Music & Craic Guaranteed. Both Junior Football Teams won over the weekend. They will now face each other to decide who is promoted to Intermediate football. This game will probably be played this weekend so please check the website for further updates. Membership renewal forms are available in the club bar. Remember, the club will not allow players who have not paid their membership to play any games. It is in the interest of player safety as they will not be insured. Well done to Barry Cahill & Kevin Bonner who helped the Dubs defeat Laois in the O'Bynre Cup Final. Best of Luck this Saturday versus Tyrone in the League Opener versus Tyrone in Croke Park. Congrats to Declan Lally who was called up to the All-Stars trip to Dubai. Well done to Alan Nolan who togged out in Goals for the Dublin Hurlers versus Laois. Joe Dolan Concert takes place in St Brigid's on Saturday 3rd March, tickets: 087-2272518. Club Lotto draw takes place this Thursday in Russell Park & the Jackpot is still a massive 15000 Euro.

January 2007 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 23 Jan 2007

Well done to Eoin Kennedy who won the Italian Open Handball Doubles crown with Dessie Keegan of Mayo. Junior 1 Footballers league game versus St Monica's was postponed. The game will now take place at 9.30pm this Tuesday in Pairc Ciceam (Ballymun's Ground). This is a very important fixture & people are urged to support the team. A big thank you to everyone who helped out with the Club Registration & Donation Day. Anyone who couldn?t make it can obtain membership renewal forms in the club bar. Remember, the club will not allow players who have not paid their membership to play any games. It is in the interest of player safety as they will not be insured. Club Registration & Donation Day takes place on Sunday January 21st. The running order for the day is Ladies Football & Camogie 10.00am - 1.45pm, Juvenile Football & Hurling 2.15pm - 4.00pm & Adult Football & Hurling 4.30pm - 6.00pm. The club will not allow players who have not paid their membership to play any games. It is in the interest of player safety as they will not be insured. Due to the amount of eligible players for Minor Football this year, 2 teams will be entered. Trails will take place this Sunday at 12.30 on the New All-Weather Pitch. Well done to Barry Cahill, Declan Lally & Kevin Bonner who lined out for the Dubs versus the Blue Stars. Player re-grading season is the 1st - 26th January 2007 with a closing time on the 26th at 7.00pm. Regarding forms can be obtained from the club website. Next Club Lotto draw of the year takes place on Thursday, the 18th of January in the The Vineyard & the Jackpot is still a massive 15000 Euro. Club Registration & Donation Day takes place this Sunday. The running order for the day is Ladies Football & Camogie 10.00am - 1.45pm, Juvenile Football & Hurling 2.15pm - 4.00pm & Adult Football & Hurling 4.30pm - 6.00pm.
