August 2007 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 28 Aug 2007

Junior Hurlers face Liffey Gaels tonight at 7.15pm in O'Toole Pk in Championship Q-Final. Congrats to Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jenson who produced another great performance to reach the Senior Doubles Final. Best of Luck to Eoin this Saturday against Duxie Walsh in the Senior Singles Final in Croke Park. First match from 3pm with Eoin on third. Next 75th Anniversary Event will take place on Friday, Sept 21st. "Up for the Match" All-Ireland Final Night this Saturday in the club bar from 8.30pm. Music, food & great craic. Well done to the ladies senior footballers who reached the Championship Final where they will face Balinteer St John on Friday Sept 7th. U15 Hurlers continued their fine run of form defeating Castleknock in the Championship. Senior 2 Footballers progressed to the Intermediate Championship final defeating St Judes. Inter Footballers also had a great League win over Round Towers. Camogie team also had a fine Championship win over Portobello & face St Pats tonight at 6.45pm in Russell Pk. Hard Luck to the dubs, thanks for the great year. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Webster Family on their recent loss.

August 2007 Clubnotes - Week 3 - Tue, 21 Aug 2007

Congrats to Eoin Kennedy as he produced another fine performance to defeat Mayo's Dessie Keegan 21-20, 21-5 to reach the Senior Singles Final where he will face Duxie Walsh on Saturday Sept 1st in Croke Park. Good Luck to Eoin & Egin Jenson on Saturday in the Senior Doubles Semi-Finals. Best of Luck to the Ladies Senior Footballers in their Champo Semi-Final vs Parnells this Wed in Russell Pk at 7.30pm. U15 Hurlers are also in Champo Action versus Castleknock at 7.15pm this Thursday in Porterstown. Senior 2 Footballers also face St Judes/St Finbarrs this Saturday at 5.30pm in Parnell Pk in the Inter Champo Semi-Final. Please support your club. Best of Luck to Barry, Kevin, Declan & the Dubs this Sunday versus Kerry. Dublin Tickets will be distributed from 10pm this Thursday. Please be aware that the clubs ticket allocation has significantly decreased from the Q-Final. Well done to Alan Nolan & the Dublin U21 on their win over Derry. Fine League win for the Junior Hurlers over O'Tooles. Junior Hurlers Champo Q-Final will take place next Tuesday (28th). Venue TBA. Lotto is now on the summer break & will resume on August 30th.

August 2007 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 14 Aug 2007

Congrats to Aisling King, Deirdre Murphy and Olivia Smartt who helped Dublin to defeat Galway in the All-Ireland U14 Football Final. Great to see them parading the 2 Cups in Croke Park on Saturday. Hard Luck to the Junior Ladies Footballers who bowed out of the Championship to St Margaret's at the semi-final stage. Well done to Barry, Kevin, Declan, Graham & the Dubs on their win over Derry. Best of Luck to Alan Nolan & the Dublin U21 Hurlers this Saturday versus Derry. Throw-in at 6pm in Newry. Another fine win for Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jenson who defeated Tipperary's David Moloney & Noel Murphy 21-7, 21-3 in their All-Ireland Doubles Quarter-Final. Best of Luck to Eoin on Saturday as he takes on Mayo's Dessie Keegan for a place in this years softball singles final. Lotto is now on the summer break & will resume on August 30th.

Best of Luck to the Ladies Junior Footballers who play St. Margerets in thier Junior Championship Semi-Final this Wednesday at 7.30pm on the All Weather Pitch. Tickets for Dublin's All-Ireland Football Quarter-Final versus Derry this Saturday will be distributed from 10pm in the club bar this Thursday. Best of Luck to Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jenson in their All-Ireland Doubles Quarter-Final this Weekend. Best of Luck to Kevin, Barry, Graham, Declan & the Dubs this Saturday versus Derry. Hard Luck to Aodhan McInerney & the Dublin Minor Hurlers who lost out to Cork in their All-Ireland Minor Hurling Semi-Final. Well done to Eoin Kennedy who defeated Joe McCann to reach the All-Ireland Singles Semi-Final were he will face Dessie Keegan of Mayo on Saturday, August 18th. Club Lotto is now on the summer break & will resume on August 30th.
