February 2007 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 27 Feb 2007 The Joe Dolan Concert takes place this Saturday. Another great night is guaranteed, tickets: 087-2272518. Doors open at 8.30pm. Well done to the Junior Ladies Footballers who finished 2nd in their league in their first season. Congrats to Paddy Andrews who was voted Dublin Minor Footballer of the Year by the Dublin Supporters Club. Good wins for the Senior Footballers over Round Towers in the Vincent de Paul Cup & the Junior C Footballers over Liffey Gaels in the Duffy Cup. Membership is now overdue. Players now paid up will not be allowed play. Forms are available in the club bar. Club Lotto draw takes place this Thursday in Russell Park & the Jackpot is still a massive 15000 Euro. Junior and Senior Ladies Teams training has resumed on Monday and Wednesday nights at 7.45 in Russell Park, New players of all levels welcome, contact Angie Fenton on 0876129578. The Main Club Shop & the Hurling Shop opening hours have changed. The shop will now open from 7.00pm-8.00pm on Friday evenings in Russell Park. . Club Lotto draw takes place this Thursday in The Roselawn Inn & the Jackpot is still a massive 15000 Euro. Hard Luck to Eoin Kennedy who was just pipped in the Ulster Open Handball Final. Membership is now overdue. Players now paid up will not be allowed play. Forms are available in the club bar. Sunday saw a superb game played between our Junior A & Junior B Footballers. The Junior A's prevailed and now will reside in Intermediate this year. Well done to all. Hard luck to the Junior B's, you still have a Championship Final on the horizon so keep up the hard work. February 2007 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 13 Feb 2007 Live Traditional Music in the bar this Friday Night with Dicey Reilly providing the entertainment. It's sure to be a great night. It is very important that all players' membership is paid up. The club will not allow players who have not paid their membership to play any games. It is in the interest of player safety, as they will not be insured. Membership forms available in the club bar. The Replay of our two Junior Footballer teams quest for Intermediate Football takes place this Sunday at 3.30pm on the All Weather Pitch is Russell Park. Hopefully the game will be as exciting as the drawn encounter. Best of Luck to Paddy Andrew's & the Dublin U21's Footballers this Saturday versus Meath in the Leinster Championship at 2.30pm in Parnell Park. February 2007 Clubnotes - Week 1 - Tue, 6 Feb 2007 Well done to the U14 Ladies Footballers who defeated favourites Foxrock/Cabinteely to win the Championship Title. A big thank you to everyone who helped out with the Club Anniversary Mass & Presentation Night. An additional Membership Day will take place this Sunday from 3pm-6pm in the club bar area. Remember, the club will not allow players who have not paid their membership to play any games. It is in the interest of player safety as they will not be insured. Last Saturday saw both of our Junior Football team's battle for a place in Intermediate Football. The game ended in a draw after Extra-time. The game was thoroughly entertaining & credit to both teams. The replay will probably be played this weekend so please check the website for further updates. The Club Shop opening hours have changed.
