July 2007 Clubnotes - Week 5 - Tue, 31 Jul 2007

Last weeks notes were not printed due to a mistake by the Evening Herald. Well done to the Senior 2 Footballers who defeated Garristown to progress to the Intermediate Championship Semi-final's. Best of Luck to Eoin Kennedy tonight as he faces Joe McCann of Mayo at 7.30pm in Mullingar in the All-Ireland 60 by 30 Quarter-Final. Congrats to Martin Cahill, Cain O'Mahony, Sean Daignan & Donal O'Mahony on retaining the Leinster Golf Club Championship. They will now play in the All-Ireland Semi-Final in September. Congrats to the Dublin U21 Hurlers on their terrific win over Offaly in the Leinster U21 Final. Well done to Alan Nolan who was part of the backroom team. Senior Hurlers had a fine win over Lucan in the League while the Junior Hurlers Championship Q-Final was postponed until mid August. Senior Footballers progressed in the Championship defeating Fingallians. Lotto Jackpot is now on the summer break & will resume on August 30th.

July 2007 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 24 Jul 2007

Congrats to Martin Cahill, Cain O'Mahony, Sean Daignan & Donal O'Mahony on retaining the Leinster Golf Club Championship. They now play in the All-Ireland Semi-Final in September. Congrats to the Dublin U21 Hurlers on their terrific win over Offaly in the Leinster U21 Final. Well done to Alan Nolan who was part of the backroom team. Senior Hurlers had a fine win over Lucan in the League while the Junior Hurlers Championship Q-Final was postponed. Senior Footballers progressed in the Championship defeating Fingallians. Junior A Footballers face Rahney in an important League clash tonight at 8pm in Russell Pk. Senior 2 Footballers are in Championship action this Wednesday vs Garristown at 8pm in Fingallian's grounds in Lawless Park. Support your club. Lotto Jackpot is now 5800 with the draw taking place in The Roselawn Inn this Thursday.

July 2007 Clubnotes - Week 3 - Tue, 17 Jul 2007

Congrats to Barry, Declan, Graham, Kevin & the Dubs on Winning the Leinster Title. Hard Luck to Shona Barrett, Noelle Healy, Katie Murphy & the Dublin Ladies Minor Footballers who were edged out by Cork in the All-Ireland Final. Also, hard luck to Catherine King, Emma Sweeney and Aisling Dargin who lost out to Cork in the All Ireland U16 Camogie Semi-Final. Senior Footballers in Championship action this Saturday at 7pm in Parnell Park vs Fingallians. Junior Hurlers in Championship Q-Final action this Sunday versus Liffey Gaels or Cuala. Venue TBA. Please check the website for updates later this week. Support your club. Ticket Book for Dublin's Quarter-Final on Saturday August 11th will open this Thursday. Please ensure you get your name down as early as possible. Demand will be high for this game as it's a double header. The Ticket Book will close on Wednesday July 25th.  Fine League wins for the Senior 2 Footballers over Fingallians, Inter Footballers over Thomas Davies, Junior A Footballers over Scoil Ui Chonail & Naomh Barrog. Junior C Footballers also had a fine win over Naomh Barrog.

July 2007 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 10 Jul 2007

Congrats to Shona Barrett, Ailish McKenna, Noelle Healy, Katie Murphy & the Dublin Ladies Minor Footballers who defeated Tyrone to reach the All-Ireland Final. Best of Luck to Barry, Declan, Graham, Kevin & the Dubs this Sunday versus Laois in the Leinster Final. Tickets for the Dublin Game will be distributed from 10pm this Thursday. Fine Championship win for the Junior B Hurlers over Erin's Isle & they now progress to the Quarter-Final stage to be played Tuesday, July 17th. Junior A Hurlers also had a good win against Crumlin in the League. Lotto Jackpot is now 5400 with the draw taking place in Russell Park this Thursday. Senior Footballers face St Vincents this Sat at 6pm in Russell Pk & Round Towers away at 8pm on Wed. Senior 2 Footballers face Parnells away at 8pm on Wed & Fingallians in Russell Pk at 6pm on Sat. Junior A Footballers face Scoil Ui Chonaill at 8pm Away in an all important league clash tonight. Support your club.

July 2007 Clubnotes - Week 1 - Tue, 3 Jul 2007

Ticket book for the Leinster Football Final closes tonight. Junior Hurlers face Erin's Isle tonight at 8.30pm in Russell Park with a place in the Championship Quarter-Final at stake. Congratulations to Aimee Molloy, Sorcha Furlong and Katie Murphy who were selected for the Ladies Underdogs panel. The girls will join the panel with a trip to New York in their sights in November to play the New York All Stars. Congrats to Oisin Galvin who won the U-12B Dublin Singles and along with Colm Hawkes also won the Doubles. Oisin beat fellow St.Brigids player Ken Donnelly in the Singles final. Kieran Cahill was runner up in the U-13B Singles final and Siobhan Cahill was runner up in the U-13B Doubles final. Well done to Aodhan McInerney & the Dublin Minor Hurlers on their superb victory over Kilkenny in the Leinster Hurling Final. Senior Footballers had a good win against St Marks in the League. Inter Footballers had good league wins against Round Towers Lusk & Craobh Ciaran while the Junior A's defeated Garda. Lotto Jackpot is now 5200 with the draw taking place in The Roselawn Inn this Thursday.
