May 2007 Clubnotes - Week 5 - Tue, 29 May 2007

Big week ahead on the playing fields with the Senior Footballers facing Ballymun Away this Wednesday at 7.30 in the Vincent de Paul Cup Final. The Junior A Footballers face Man O'War this Thursday at 8pm in the Junior B Championship Final in Parnell's ground in Collinstown Lane. Please support your club in these two very important games. Best of Luck to Barry, Kevin, Graham, Declan & the Dubs this Sunday versus Meath. Last few remaining slots available for the Club Golf Classic in Royal Tara this Friday. Phone 087-2497-818 for more information. Dicey Reilly will play the club bar this Friday, a great night's entertainment guaranteed. Next 75th Anniversary Event to remember the teams of the 70's & 80's will take place on Saturday June 16th. Have you registered for the Summer Mini-Leagues taking place Monday 18th June to Saturday 24th June for U-6, U-8, U-10 and U-12 age groups. If not, Contact Declan McCarthy on 087 9175916. May 2007 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 22 May 2007

Fine Championship wins for the Intermediate Footballers over St Margarets & the Junior B's over Liffey Gaels. The Intermediate Footballers drew with Naomh Olaf with the Replay taking place away at 11 next Sunday. Club Golf Classic takes place in Royal Tara on Friday June 1st. Team's of four cost 600. Sponsorship of Holes & Tee Boxes is also needed. Phone 087-2497-818 for more information. Club Lotto Jackpot is 4000 Euro with the draw taking place in Russell Pk this Thursday

May 2007 Clubnotes - Week 3 - Tue, 15 May 2007

Several important Adult Football Championship games ahead this week. The Senior 2 Footballers face St Margaret's at 7.15 in Collinstown Lane. The Inter Footballers face Naomh Olaf at 11 on Sunday in Russell Pk. The Junior B Footballers face Liffey Gaels away at 3pm on Sunday. Club Golf Classic takes place in Royal Tara on Friday June 1st. Junior B Hurlers had two Fine Championship wins against Erin's Isle & St Kevin's while the Junior A's defeated Ballyboden & drew with Lucan. Minor A Footballers had a good win against St Sylvester's. Well done to the Camogie Feile team who reached the final where they lost out to Lucan. Hard Luck to the Junior C Footballers who lost out to Castleknock in the Duffy Cup Final. Senior Footballers reached the Vincent De Paul Cup Final defeating St Sylvester's.

May 2007 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 8 May 2007

Good luck to the U 14 Camogie team who play in the Division 2 Feile on Saturday at Lucan Sarsfield. First match at 12.40pm. Hard Luck to the Senior Footballers who were edged out by Plunkett's. Fine League Win for the Ladies U16 Footballers over Ballyboden. Also good Football League wins for our Junior A Footballers over Wanderer's, Junior B over Crumlin & Junior C's over Rosmini. Important Hurling Champo games this week with the Junior A's facing Ballyboden in Russell Pk on Wednesday at 7.15 while the Junior B's face Erin's Isle away at 7.15. Junior A's face Lucan away on Sunday at 11 while the Junior B's face St Kevin's in Russell Pk at 11. Senior Hurlers face Faugh's in Russell Pk this Saturday at 6pm in League. 75th Anniversary Night was a fine success & a big thank to everyone who helped organise the event. Club membership closes on the 30th April 2007. 2006 members wishing to pay their 2007 membership after this date will have to contact the Chairman Paddy Davey or the Registrar Seamus Branagan. Last years members will be given ten days grace to pay their membership. After the 10th May 2007 any member wishing to join will have to pay any extra 50. (Non Members will not be able to play for any Team after the 10th May 2007). The Chairman of St Brigids GAA Club wishes to state that no developer has being in contact with any member of the club with regard to the club selling any part of the clubs lands. Senior Footballers face St Oliver Plunketts at 8pm in Parnell Pk this Friday. Fine Championship wins for the Junior A Hurlers over Scoil Ui Chonail, Minor A & B Footballers over Erins Isle & Liffey Gaels. Junior C Footballers edged out St Peregerines after Extra Time to reach Duffy Cup Final where they will face St Thomas's next Monday at 8pm in Russell Pk. Good League win for Ladies U16 Footballers over Scoil Ui Chonail. Lotto Jackpot is now 3400 with the draw taking place in Russell Pk this Thursday.
