November 2007 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 27 Nov 2007 Congratulations to Marian Teeling on winning Dublin Camogie Intermediate Player of the year. Well done to the U21 Footballers who reached the Championship Semi-Finals defeating Cuala. They will now face Ballymun. Well done to Jamie Winters, Daire Plunkett & Aodhan McInerney who were part of the Dublin Colleges win over Castlecomer. Best of Luck to the Minor Footballers who face Eire Og this Saturday in the Leinster Championship Q-Final in Eire Og at 5pm. Best of Luck to Paddy Davey and the new incoming executive in 2008. A big thank you to the out going officers for all their hard work through-out 2007. Well done to Sorcha Furlong, Aimee Molloy & Katie Murphy who helped the Underdogs to a great win in New York. Our final 75th. Anniversary Celebratory event of the year takes place on Friday December 14th marking the achievements of team from the 90's right up to the present day. The Junior A Footballers Quiz on will be holding a fundraising Quiz on Thursday December 13th. Galway Hurler Damien Hayes will be in the club on Saturday December 8th for the Juvenile Prize giving. Kids Xmas Party takes place on Sunday December 9th. 25's card games return every Thursday in the club bar from 9pm. Club Lotto Jackpot is E3000 this Thursday in The Roselawn Inn. November 2007 Clubnotes - Week 3 - Tue, 20 Nov 2007 Congrats to the Junior A Footballers who crowned a great year winning their League & now look forward to Intermediate Football next year. Hard Luck to the U21 Hurlers who suffered a heart breaking last minute goal defeat to Lucan. U21 B Footballers face Templeogue at 7.45 tonight in Russell Pk while the A's face Cuala at 2.30 this Saturday in Russell Pk. Juvenile AGM takes place this Wednesday so all mentors & parents are urged to attend. Club AGM takes place this Sunday from 5pm. It is imperative all members attend with many important topics up for discussion. The Senior 1's had a fine win over St Annes while the Senior 2's were edged out by Naomh Barrog. Congrats to Paddy Andrews who was awarded a DCU Sports Scholarship. Well done to the Junior A Footballers who were shortlisted for a Powerade Award. U13 Footballers also had a great win over Thomas Davies. Our Minor A Football Champions face Eire Og on December 1st in the Leinster Championship. 25's card games return every Thursday in the club bar from 9pm. Club Lotto Jackpot is E2800 this Thursday in Russell Pk. November 2007 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 13 Nov 2007 Congrats to Anna Greville who was named Dublin U10 Camogie Player of the Year. Both our U21 A & B Football Championship games were postponed at the weekend. U15 Footballers drew with Castleknock in the League while the U13 Footballers drew with Fingallians. U14 Camogie lost out to Lucan in their League Decider. This Saturday sees our U21 Hurlers open their Championship campaign versus Lucan at 2.30pm in Russell Park. With Intermediate Football guaranteed next year, Noel Cassidy's Junior 'A' Footballers face Kilmacud Crokes this Sunday at 11.0 in Silver Park knowing a win will add the League Title to an already successful year. The Senior 1 & 2 Footballers also have league games. The Senior 1's face St Annes at 11.0 in Russell Pk while the Senior 2's face Naomh Barrog in a crucial game in Pairc Barrog at 11.0. November 2007 Clubnotes - Week 1 - Tue, 6 Nov 2007 Congrats to Barry Cahill who added to his Vodafone All-Star with a GPA All-Star on Friday Night in Citywest. On Bank Holiday Monday, our Minor Footballers lit up Parnell Pk to capture the Minor 'A' Championship. Well done to all involved. The Minor's will now face Eire Og on December 1st in the Leinster Championship. Hard Luck to the Senior Footballers who were edged out by St Vincents. Best of Luck to St Vincents in the Leinster Championship. Noel Cassidy's Junior 'A' Footballers were promoted to Intermediate defeating Ballinteer St Johns. A terrific achievement to have four teams in the top four divisions. The Junior B Footballers were defeated by St Judes in their League Final. This Saturday sees the U21 A & B Footballers open their Championship campaign. The A's face Cuala at 3pm in Russell Park, while the B's face Templeogue at 3pm in Dolphin Park. Support your club.
