October 2007 Clubnotes - Week 5 - Tue, 30 Oct 2007

Congrats to Ciaran Cahill who won the U13B Leinster Handball Doubles Title. Ciaran & his partner Niall McKenna from Na Fianna produced a fine performance to defeat their opponents from Wexford. Minor Footballers had a good League win over Skerries at the weekend. Club AGM takes place on Sunday November 27th at 5pm. Please ensure your nomination forms are returned by Sunday November 4th. Several very important adult football league games this week. The Senior 2's face Clontarf at 8pm in Russell Pk on Wednesday. The Junior B's face St Judes in the League Final this Sunday at 2.30pm in O'Toole Pk. The Junior A Footballers face Balinteer St John's at 11.0 on Sunday morning in Russell Pk in a very important league clash while the Senior 2's face Balinteer at 11.0 in Russell as well. The Inter's also face St Finian's of Newcastle away on Sunday at 11.0. Support your club. Club Lotto Jackpot is E2200 this Thursday in Russell Park. 25's card games return every Thursday in the club bar from 9pm.

October 2007 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 23 Oct 2007

Congrats to Barry Cahill who received an All-Star on Friday Night in Citywest. A terrific achievement and well deserved. Big Bank Holiday Monday ahead with the Senior Footballers & Minor Footballers contesting Championship Finals in Parnell Pk. The Minors face Na Fianna at 6pm and the Seniors face St Vincents at 7.30pm. Please check the website later this week as the match times may change. Get togged out in your red & white & support the lads. Well done to the U14 Camogie team who defeated Lucan to win the Championship. U15 Hurlers were promoted on Saturday with a fine win over Scoil Ui Chonail. The Junior B Footballers were promoted for the 3rd year in a row on Sunday after defeating Ranelagh Gaels after extra-time. Junior A Footballers received a walkover while the Senior 2's beat Templeogue. The Inter Footballers were edged out by St Monica's with the last kick of the game. Club Lotto Jackpot is E2000 this Thursday in The Roselawn Inn. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Doyle Family on their recent loss.

Big week of action ahead with the Senior Footballers facing St Judes at 6.45pm in Parnell Pk in their Champo Semi-Final. Junior B Footballers face Ranelagh Gaels this Sunday at 3pm in Bushy Pk in their Promotion Final Replay. Inter Footballers face St Monica's this Saturday at 5pm in Russell Pk. Senior 2 Footballers also face Templeogue at 5pm in Russell Pk. Junior A Footballers face St James Gaels in the Iveagh Grounds this Sunday at 11.0. U14 Camogie girls face Lucan in their Champo Final this Saturday at 2.30pm in Croabh Ciaran's grounds in Clonsaugh. These are all crucial games so please support your club. 75th Anniversary Dinner Dance was a great success with over 300 attending. A big thank to everyone who helped out. Minor A Footballers recorded a great victory over Cuala to reach the Champo Final. Best of luck to Barry Cahill on Friday at the All-Star awards. 3 St Brigids Girls have been picked for the Underdogs & you can see their progress every Thursday from 9.30pm on TG4. U11 Girls had a great win over Naomh Barrog to reach the Champo Decider while the U16 Ladies Footballers won the shield. U13 Hurlers finished off the year in style convincingly beating Ballyboden. Club Lotto Jackpot is E1800 this Thursday in Russell Pk.

Well done to the Senior Footballers who progressed to the Champo Semi-Final with a hard fought win over UCD & will now face St Judes in the semi-finals. Junior B Footballers drew with Ranelagh Gaels in their Promotion Final while the Inter Footballers had an important win over Fingallians. Congrats to Gerry McEntee on his appointment as Dublin Minor Football Manager. Minor A Footballers face Cuala in O'Toole Pk this Sunday at 10.30 in their Champo Semi-Final. Senior Hurlers also face Lucan this Sunday in Parnell Pk in their Championship Quarter-Final at 2.30pm. Please do your best to get out there & support the lads. Best of Luck to Eugune Kennedy in the All-Ireland Masters Handball Final this Saturday versus Pakie Mullins of Tipperary in Cashel. First game at 5pm. Congrats to the U14 Camogie team who qualified for the Champo Final with impressive wins in the group stages. Club Lotto Jackpot is 1600 with the draw taking place in Russell Park this Thursday

Junior B Footballers face Ranelagh Gaels this Sunday at 3pm in Russell Pk in their Promotion Final. Inter Footballers face Fingallians this Saturday at 5.30pm in Lawless Pk. Junior A Footballers face St Pats of Donabate in Donabate this Sunday at 11.0. These are all crucial games so please support your club.
