September 2007 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 25 Sep 2007

Senior Footballers advanced to the Quarter-Final's of the Champo with a win over Erin's Isle. They will now face UCD on the weekend of October 7th. Hard Luck to the Senior Camogie who suffered Champo Final heartbreak when going down to Na Fianna by a point. Junior A Footballers had a very important league win over St Judes. Junior B Footballers Promotion final was postponed & will now take place on October 7th in Russell Pk. Well done to the U14 Camogie who finished joint top of their League. Minor B Footballers face Croabh Ciaran this Wednesday at 8.30pm in Russell Pk in their Championship Quarter-Final while the Minor A Footballers face Cuala in their Championship Semi-Final in O'Toole Pk this Sunday at 12.00. Senior Hurlers face St Vincents in Parnell Pk this Saturday at 3pm in their 2nd group game of the Champo. Support your club. 75th Anniversary Dinner Dance takes places on Friday October 12th in Westmanstown. Tickets 60.00 euro each & are selling fast. Enquiries to Patsy Powell 0876719430. Congrats to Eoin Kennedy who completed the grand slam of 60 by 30 Titles winning the Doubles Title. Eoin is only the 3rd player in history to do so. Well done & enjoy your holiday. Well done to the Senior Caomgie who reached the Champo final where they will face Na Fianna this Saturday. Venue TBA so please check the website later this week for confirmation. Fine Champo win for the Minor A Footballers over St Vincents while no ref turned up for the Minor B's game. Hard Luck to the U13 & U14 Hurlers who were both knocked out the 'A' Championship at the semi-final stage. U15 Hurlers were also edged out by Na Fianna in their Champo Final. Senior Footballers face Erin's Isle this Friday at 8.15pm in Parnell Pk in the Champo while the Junior A Footballers face St Judes this Sunday at 11.0 in Tymon North in a very important league game. Club Development Meeting on Phase 2 takes place next Monday at 9.15pm in the Hall. Hard Luck to the Senior 2 Footballers & Ladies Footballers who were edged out in their Championship Finals over the weekend. Best of Luck to Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jenson this Saturday in the Senior Doubles Final in Croke Park. Busy weekend ahead with several important fixtures. The Senior Hurlers finally start their Champo campaign facing North Dublin Regional team at 4pm in Parnell Pk on Saturday while Senior Camogie face Thomas Davies at 5pm in Russell Pk in their Champo Semi-Final. U15 Hurlers face Na Fianna this Sunday at 10.30 in their Champo Final. Venue TBA so please check the website later this week for confirmation. Minor A & B Footballers in Champo Q-Final action this Sunday at 10.30 in Russell Pk versus St Vincents & Croabh Ciaran. Good League wins for the Senior's over Ballyboden, Junior A's over St Annes & Junior B's over St Finian's. 75th Anniversary Dinner Dance takes places on Friday October 12th in Westmanstown. Congrats to Eoin Kennedy who produced a fantastic display to win his 4th All-Ireland 60 by 30 Senior Singles Title in a row defeating Duxie Walsh 21-10, 21-6. Well done to Eugune who also won the Masters Leinster Title. Big weekend of Action ahead with the Ladies Senior Footballers facing St Johns this Friday at 7pm in Parnell Pk in the Intermediate Final while the Senior 2 Footballers face Fingal Ravens at 5.30pm in Parnell Pk on Saturday in the Intermediate Final. Junior B Footballers face St Finian's Newcastle in League Q-Final this Sunday in Russell Pk at 10.30. Support your club. Well done to the Senior Camogie who advanced to the Championship Semi-Final's defeating Lucan. A great display by the U15 Hurlers against St Kevin's paved the way for a Championship Final berth against Na Fianna on September 16th. Well done to Willie Madden who played for Dublin in the Tony Forristal Hurling Tournament. Hard Luck to the U12 hurlers who lost out in the Camaint Final. Minor A & B Footballers had fine Championship wins over Na Fianna & St Maurs. Also, good wins for the Ladies U16 & Minor Footballers over the weekend. Next 75th Anniversary Event will take place on Friday, Sept 21st. Club Lotto Jackpot is 6200 with the draw taking place in The Vineyard this Thursday.
