March 2008 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 25 Mar 2008

Please note players who have not paid their membership by the end of March will not be eligible to put their name down in the ticket book for any future Dublin Games. Best of Luck to Daire Plunkett, Aodhan McEnerney, Jamie Winters & the Dublin Colleges this weekend versus Thurles CBS in the All-Ireland Colleges Semi-Final's. Venue & Day TBA so please check the club website later this week. Feile Footballers face St Peregerines this Saturday at 2pm in Russell Pk with a home semi-final up for grabs. Please support the lads. Senior & Junior A Hurlers are both in action in Russell Pk this Saturday at 4.30pm. Seniors face Ballyboden while the Junior A's face Faughs. Plenty more games on this weekend. Check out the club website for more details. Tribute Night in memory of Mags Doyle takes place on Friday April 11th in St Oliver Plunketts clubhouse. March 2008 Clubnotes - Week 3 - Tue, 18 Mar 2008

Hard Luck to Eoin Kennedy who was edged out by Tom Healy in the Open Irish Nationals Final. Eoin sustained an injury in the semi-final, which badly restricted him in the final. Please note players who have not paid their membership from this week on will not be allowed play games. Junior Footballers had a fine win against Whitehall. Senior & Junior A Hurlers narrowly lost out in their opening league games. U14 Hurlers Feile match versus St Judes was postponed. Dublin vs Monaghan NFL game has been rescheduled for this Sunday at 2.30pm in Parnell Pk. Best of Luck to Paddy Andrews & the Dublin U21 Footballers this Saturday in the Leinster Championship vs Kildare in Newbridge. Hard Luck Daire Plunkett, Aodhan McEnerney & St Declan's on their narrow Leinster Hurling Final loss. March 2008 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 11 Mar 2008

Congrats to Daire Plunkett, Aodhan McEnerney, Jamie Winters & the Dublin Colleges Hurlers who produced a fantastic performance to win the Leinster Title. The Ladies Football presentation was a big success with Barry Cahill handing out the medals. Minor Hurlers opened their League season with a win over Castleknock while the U10 Hurlers also edged out Castleknock. U14 Footballers progressed to the semi-finals of Feile. Senior 1 Footballers beat Lucan while the Senior 2's drew with Clontarf. Both Inter sides lost narrowly while both Junior sides won. Dublin vs Monaghan tickets will be distributed on Thursday evening. Tribute Night in memory of Mags Doyle takes place on Friday April 11th in St Oliver Plunketts clubhouse. March 2008 Clubnotes - Week 1 - Tue, 4 Mar 2008

Julie Long was remembered in terrific fashion with a pulsating doubles match between Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jenson and Duxie Walsh & Micheal Greegan. It was a great way to remember Julie. A big thank you to everyone who helped organise the event. Best of Luck to Cathal Doyle, Daire Plunkett, Aodhan McEnerney, Jamie Winters and the Dublin Colleges this Saturday in the Leinster Final. Throw-in at 2pm in Dr Cullen Pk in Carlow. Ladies Football presentation takes place this Sunday at 6pm in Russell Pk. Minor Footballers drew with Vincents, Junior A Footballers beat Naomh Barrog while the U14 & U15 Hurlers narrowly went down to Kilmacud & Faughs. Adult Football Leagues start this weekend. Please check the website for fixtures. The Master Adult Football League fixtures are also available from the website. Speedy recovery to Siobhan Cahill who was injured while playing for Dublin vs. Galway. The clubs Easter Camp will run from Tuesday March 25th to Friday 28th. Application forms & more information are available from the club website. Club Membership is now well overdue. It is very important that all members pay their membership. They will not be insured if there membership is not paid. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk with a Jackpot of ?4800. 25's card games every Thursday in the club bar from 9pm.
