May 2008 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 27 May 2008 Congrats to Kieran Cahill, Paul Winters, Aaron Carolan and Willie Madden who were part of the Dublin North Schools hurling team that captured the Leinster "A" Hurling Title defeating St Keiran's of Kilkenny. Well done to Alan Nolan & the Dublin Senior Hurlers on their win over Westmeath. Best of Luck to Chris Dorney & Warren Finnegan this Wednesday with the Dublin Juniors as they face Cavan in Championship in Parnell Pk at 7.30pm. Ticket Book for the Dublin vs Louth LSFC on Sunday June 8th closes tonight. Only paid up members will be allowed put their name down for tickets. Senior's had a good league win over Plunketts while the Senior 2's beat Skerries. Inter 1's beat Lusk & Fingallians while the Inter 2's beat Clann Mhuire. Mini Leagues take place from Monday June 9th Saturday June 14th. Over 360 kids took part last year so demand will be high. The Danone Big Toddle for Barnardos is Ireland's largest fundraising event & St Brigids GAA nursery is warming up for their sponsored half mile run. The 5's and younger members will be lining up on Friday May 23 at 6pm in Russell Park to raise vital funds for Barnardos. Sponsor cards available from nursery@stbrigidsgaa.com. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in The Roselawn Inn with a Jackpot of 7200. Noelle Healy & Enya Farrell were also part of the Dublin team. Two fine Championsip wins for our Junior A & B Hurlers, defeating St Finian's & St Kevins. Senior Footballers face Plunketts in Martin Savage Pk at the same time as well. Both Senior Football teams are in action in Russell Pk on Saturday evening at 6.30pm. May 2008 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 13 May 2008 U14 Feile Camogie team had a great weekend crowning it with the Division 3 Feile title. Well done to all involved. Both Junior Hurling teams in Champo action this weekend. Junior A Hurlers face St Finian's at 6.30 in Russell Pk this Saturday while the Junior B Hurlers face St Kevins at 11 on Sunday in Dolphin Pk. Senior Hurlers also face Kilmacud at 6.30 in Russell Pk on Saturday. Hard Luck to Gerry McEntee and our five Dublin Minor representatives who lost out to Meath. Senior, Senior 2, Inter 2 & Junior A Footballers all had good Champo wins against Clontarf, Naomh Mearnog, Sygne St and St Finian's. Hard Luck to the Inter 1 Footballers who lost out to Kilmacud. Senior Footballers also had a good league win over Na Fianna. Senior Camogie retained their 100% League record defeating Plunketts. Special thanks to everyone who helped make the Ronan Quinn Memorial Fundraiser a great success last Saturday night. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in The Vineyard with a Jackpot of 6600. Senior Footballers face Clontarf in Parnell Pk at 8.15 tonight as well as the Junior A Footballers facing Ballinteer at 7.15 in Russell Pk tonight. Senior 2 Footballers face Naomh Mearnog this Thursday at 8.15pm in Balgrffin. Inter 1 Footballers face Kilmacud at 11 on Sunday in Russell Pk while the Inter 2 Footballers face Synge St at 12.30 on Sunday in Longmeadows. Senior 1 & 2 Footballers also have league games this Saturday at 6.30 in Russell versus Na Fianna & St Marys. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk with a Jackpot of 6600. |
