November 2008 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 25 Nov 2008

Junior A Hurlers Champo Final was postponed due to Naomh Barrog's involvement in Leinster Champo. Congrats to Paddy Andrews & Alan Daly on their blue star nominations. U21 Hurlers face St Vincents at 2.15pm this Saturday in Champo in PNU. Get out there and give the lads the support they deserve. Minor Footballers Champo Final will take place on Sunday Decemeber 7th in O'Toole Pk at 11am. Busy weekend of adult football with 4 teams facing important games. Senior 1 Footballers face St Marks at 11am in McGee Pk on Sunday while the Senior 2 Footballers face Sygne St in Dolphin Pk on Sunday at 11am. Inter 2 Footballers face Erins Isle at 11am on Sunday in Russell Pk while the Junior A Footballers face Raheny in St Annes Pk at 2.15pm on Sunday. Club Lotto takes place in The Roselawn this Thursday with a Jackpot of E5400. Club AGM takes place on Sunday December 7th at 6pm. Kids Xmas Party will also take place on Sunday December 7th.

U12 Ladies Footballers produced a brilliant display to beat O'Dwyers to be crowned Championship Winners. Well done to all involved. The Ladies Minor Footballers won their Shield Final beating Castleknock in Russell Pk on Saturday evening. U21 Hurlers fought back tremendously well on Saturday against O'Tooles to progress to the next round. Senior Footballers remain on course for the league semi-finals after a fine win over Kilmacud Crokes. Junior A Footballers had a good win over Ballyboden St Enda's. U21 Footballers face Ballymun Kickhams this Thursday at 8pm in Pairc Ciceam in the Champo First Round. Junior A Hurlers face Naomh Barrog this Sunday at 2.15pm in O'Toole Pk in the Junior A Championship Final. Get out there and give the lads the support they deserve. Club Lotto takes place in Russell Pk this Thursday with a Jackpot of E5000. Club AGM takes place on Sunday December 7th at 6pm. Kids Xmas Party will also take place on Sunday December 7th.

Big weekend of Championship wins. Our Junior "A" Hurlers reached the Championship Final with a hard fought win over St Sylvester's. They now face Naomh Barrog in the final. The Minor Footballers produced a brilliant second half display against Kilmacud Crokes to reach the Championship Final. They await the winners of the Ballyboden vs Na Fianna Semi-Final. Senior 2 Footballers face Finbarrs at 7.30pm in League this Wednesday in Russell Pk. This game is followed by our Inter 2 Footballers versus Erin's Isle at 9pm. Ladies Minor Footballers face Castleknock in the Shield Final this Saturday at 6pm in Russell Pk. Junior A Footballers face Ballyboden at 2.30pm in Russell Pk on Sunday. Club Lotto takes place in The Vineyard this Thursday with a Jackpot of E4800. Club AGM takes place on Sunday December 7th at 6pm. Kids Xmas Party will also takes place on Sunday December 7th.

Big weekend of Championship Hurling & Football lies ahead. Our Junior A Hurlers face St Sylvester's at 2.45pm on Saturday in Portmarnock in their Championship Semi-Final. Our Minor A Footballers face Kilmacud Crokes at 11 in Russell Pk this Sunday in their Championship Semi-Final These are both very big games so as much support as possible is needed. Junior B Hurler also play Clontarf at 2.30pm in Russell Pk this Sunday. Big league wins for our Senior 2 Footballers over O'Tooles & our Junior A Footballers came back very well to beat Erin's Isle to stay on track for promotion. Inter 1 Footballers went down narrowly to Round Towers. Club Lotto in Russell Pk this Thursday with a Jackpot of E4600. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Maher Family on their recent loss.
