August 2009 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Wed, 26 Aug 2009

We have been shortlisted to the Final 4 for the Etihad Club of the Year. Online Voting (www.etihadgaa.ie) will commence on Aug 26th so make sure you vote and spread the word. Congrats to Eoin Kennedy who reached the 60*30 All-Ireland Final beating Michael Finnegan 21-4, 21-3. Best of luck to Eoin & Egin in the All-Irleand Doubles Semi-Final this Sat in Croke Pk. Senior 1 & 2 Footballers progressed in the Champo and will face Judes & Kilmacud in the next round on Sept 5th/6th. Hard luck to Aine Burke & Aimee Molloy & the Dublin Senior B Ladies on their All-Ireland Final loss. Well done to Colleen Barrett, Sorcha Furlong, Elaine Kelly & Katie Murphy who reached the All-Ireland Semi-Final defeating Kerry. Senior Camogie in Champo tonight at 7pm vs Kilmacud in Silver Pk. Inter 2 Footballers in Cup Semi-Final this Sat at 6pm vs Judes in Russell Pk. Junior A Footballers face Ballinteer at 10.30 on Sun in Russell Pk in their Cup Semi-Final. Club Lotto is back this Thursday in Russell Pk.

Senior Footballers in Champo action tonight vs. Erins Isle at 6.45 in Parnell Pk. Senior Camogie also in Champo tonight at 7pm in Russell Pk vs. Ballinteer St Johns. Senior 2 Footballers in Champo vs. Garda on Thurs at 7pm in Blakestown. Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jensen face Michael Finnegan & Raymond Cunninghamin in Mullingar tonight in the 60 * 30 Doubles Q-Final. Eoin also faces Michael Finnegan on Sat in the All-Ireland Semi-Final in Croke Pk at 5pm. Senior Hurlers had 2 brilliant wins over Plunketts & Na Fianna. Best of luck to Aine Burke & Aimee Molloy & the Dublin Senior B Ladies vs. Cork in the All-Ireland Final this Sat at 12.45 in Thurles. Best of luck to Colleen Barrett, Sorcha Furlong, Elaine Kelly & Katie Murphy this Sat vs. Kerry in the All-Ireland Q-Final. Hard luck to Colm Carr, Naill O?Dea, Philip Ryan, Kevin Twomey on their All-Ireland Minor loss. Club Lotto is now on its summer break until August 27th. Congrats to Eoin Kennedy who advanced to the 60 * 30 All-Ireland Semi-Finals defeating Brian Carroll of Meath. Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jensen face Aengus Cunningham & Chris Doolin in Mullingar this Wed in the 60 * 30 Doubles opening round. Senior Hurlers face Plunketts tonight at 7.15pm in Martin Savage Pk in their final Champo group game. Senior?s also face Na Fianna in a big league game this Sat at 6.30pm in Russell Pk. Both games involving the Inter Hurlers are off this wk. Well done to Aine Burke & Aimee Molloy who helped the Dublin Senior B Ladies progress to the All-Ireland Final beating Kildare. Best of luck to Colleen Barrett, Sorcha Furlong, Elaine Kelly & Katie Murphy this weekend vs. Kerry in the All-Ireland Q-Final. Best of luck to Colm Carr (captain), Naill O?Dea, Philip Ryan, Kevin Twomey & the Dublin Minor Footballers in the All-Ireland Q-Final vs. Down this Sat in Breffini Pk, Cavan. Congrats to Eoin Kennedy who reached the Quarter-Finals of the All-Ireland 60 by 30. Eoin faces Brian Carroll of Meath on Saturday. Eoin is going for his 6th 60 by 30 All-Ireland Title. Inter Hurlers face Liffey Gaels at 7.30 tonight in Russell Pk in a league back match. Club Lotto is now on its summer break until August 27th.
