December 2009 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 29 Dec 2009

The annual married vs. singles game takes place on St Stephens?s day from 12 in Russell Pk. Club bar open from 5pm on St Stephens Day with live music and great craic to be had. Club bar open from 6pm on Xmas eve. Reminder to all members that the clubs shop has some great stocking filler?s for Xmas. The Club Executive would like to take this opportunity to wish all everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. A Big-thank to all those who have been involved with the Club over this past year, as players, mentors, volunteers and parents and we look forward to your support once again in 2010. Club Lotto will resume in the New Year. A big thank you to all who helped & contributed to the Lotto this year. The Jackpot will be E15000 in the New Year.

December 2009 Clubnotes - Week 3 - Tue, 15 Dec 2009

The car draw turned out to be a massive success with ticket sales very good. A big thank you to all buyers and sellers of tickets! Con McMenimen from Castleknock Flowers was the lucky winner. Special thanks to the organising committee. A new executive was elected at the AGM on Sunday. Fintan O?Sullivan is the new chairman. A big thank you to Paddy Davey and his team for their brilliant work this year. Inter & Senior Hurlers finished their seasons topping their respective leagues. Both sides had good wins over Na Fianna & Naomh Mearnog. Inter 1 Footballers went down narrowly to Naomh Mearnog in their play-off. Well done to the Ladies Minor Footballers on their Shield victory. The kids Xmas was a great success with all involved enjoying a great day. Reminder to all members that the club?s shop has some great stocking filler?s for Xmas. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk with a Jackpot of E15000.

December 2009 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 8 Dec 2009

Reminder to all members to return your tickets for the club car draw ASAP. The draw will take place this Saturday from 8.30pm in the club bar. The club Xmas party will also be held on the same night. The club website is back up & running now. U21 Footballers just fell short against Kilmacud Crokes in their Champo Semi-Final. Inter 2 Footballers lost out to St Sylvester?s in their Promotion Final. Inter 1 Footballers are still awaiting a date for their Relegation P/O vs. Naomh Mearnog. The game may go ahead this week so keep an eye on the website. Inter Hurlers face Na Fianna in their final league game tonight at 8.30pm in Russell Pk. Club AGM takes place on Sunday from 6.30pm. Important all members attend with important issues to be discussed. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk with a Jackpot of E14800. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the McGeedey family on their recent loss.

Reminder to all members to return your tickets for the club car draw ASAP. The draw will take place on Sat Dec 12th. The club Xmas party will also be held on the same night. We hope to have the website up & running this week. U21 Footballers face Kilmacud Crokes in Champo Semi-Final this Sat at 2.45pm in Russell Pk. Big support needed. Senior 1 & 2 Footballers lost their Relegation/Promotion play-offs. Inter 2 Footballers reached their promotion final defeating St Judes which is due to be played this Sun. Junior Footballers had a great win over Clontarf to be promoted to AFL 7. Inter 1 Footballers Relegation P/O didn?t go ahead but may go ahead this Wed in Russell Pk. Club AGM takes place on Sun Dec 13th. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk with a Jackpot of E14600.
