July 2009 Clubnotes - Week 5 - Tue, 28 Jul 2009

Tickets for the Dublin vs. Kerry All-Ireland Q-Final on Monday August 3rd will be distributed this Thursday from 10pm. A special drinks promotion will be on after the game in the club bar. 20% off all drinks, e.g. Pint of Guinness for E3. Best of luck to Colm Carr (captain), Naill O?Dea, Philip Ryan, Kevin Twomey & the Dublin Minor Footballers in the All-Ireland Q-Final vs. Down this Sat at 4pm in Breffini Pk, Cavan. Best of luck to Kevin, Barry, Paddy & Declan & the Dublin Senior Footballers vs. Kerry. Eoin Kennedy opens the defence of his 60 by 30 All-Ireland Crown this Wed at 7.30pm in Mullingar vs. Ricky O?Gara. Well done to the Ladies Senior Footballers who reached the Champo Final defeating Parnells, final to be played on Sept. 11th vs. An Garda in Parnell Pk. Senior Camogie in action tonight at 7.30pm vs. Ballinteer St John?s in Russell Pk. Hard luck to Alan Nolan & the Dublin Senior Hurlers on their Champo exit. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk with a Jackpot of E11800. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the O?Leary family on their recent loss.

Ticket book for the Dublin Footballers All-Ireland Q-Final closes tonight. Congrats to Colm Carr, Naill O?Dea, Philip Ryan, Kevin Twomey & the Dublin Minor Footballers on their Leinster Final Replay truimph over Kildare. Colm was captain of the team. Congrats to Coleen Barrett, Elaine Kelly, Sorcha Furlong, Katie Murphy & the Dublin Ladies Senior Footballers on their Leinster Final over Kildare. Senior Hurlers made it 4 out of 4 defeating Naomh Olafs in the Champo. They now top the group. Inter Hurlers lost to Round Towers while the Junior?s beat Olaf?s. Best of luck to Alan Nolan & the Dublin Senior Hurlers vs. Limerick this weekend. Senior Ladies Footballers in Champo Semi-Final vs. Parnells this Wed at 7.30 in Balgriffin. Senior Footballers face Ballyboden & the Junior A?s face Kilmacud in Russell Pk tonight. On Wed, Inter 2 Footballers face St Judes in Russell Pk. Inter 1?s face Sylvester?s in Broomfield. Senior 2?s face Olaf?s in Pairc Ui Bhrain. On Thurs, Junior A?s face Liffey Gaels in Liffey Pk. Junior B?s face Castleknock in Porterstown. All games at 7.45

Best of luck to Coleen Barrett, Elaine Kelly, Sorcha Furlong, Katie Murphy & the Dublin Ladies Senior Footballers in the Leinster Final this Sun in Dr Cullen Pk. Hard luck to Olivia Smartt, Aisling King, Michelle O' Reilly, Deirdre Murphy and Sinead Farrelly who were part of the Dublin U16 Girls who lost the Leinster Final. Senior Hurlers in crucial Champo game versus Naomh Olaf this Sat at 6.30 in Pairc Ui Bhrain. Inter Hurlers face Liffey Gaels tonight at 7.30 in Russell Pk (League) & also face Round Towers at 6.30 in Champo on Sat in Russell Pk. Inter 2 Footballers had big league wins over Lucan & Round Towers. Senior 1's drew with Judes while the Senior 2's beat Whitehall. Junior 4's beat St Pats (P) while the Junior 7's beat Good Counsel. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in The Vineyard with a Jackpot of E11000

Ticket collection for Leinster Football Final takes place at 10pm on Thursday. Additional tickets can be obtained by calling Paddy Davey on 086-8229-312 by Wed evening. Well done to the U14 Girls Feile Footballers who narrowly missed out on qualification to the Semi-Finals. The girls won 2/3 games. Congrats to Donal Timoney who reached the semi final of the U12 All Ireland One Wall Handball Championship losing out to eventually winner Daniel Curray. Hard luck to Alan Nolan & the Dublin Hurlers on Leinster Final loss to Kilkenny. Big club representation on Sun in Croke Pk. Best of luck to Kevin, Barry, Paddy & Declan & the Dublin Senior Footballers vs. Kildare. Best of luck to Collie Carr (Captain), Naill O'Dea, Philip Ryan, Kevin Twomey & Dublin Minor Footballers at 12.15 vs. Kildare in Croke Pk. Senior Hurlers beat Erins Isle in the League. Plenty of games in Russell Pk this wk. Inter 2?s face Round Towers , Senior 1 & 2?s face Sylvester's & Whitehall on Wed at 7.45. Jun B's face Geraldine Morans on Thurs. Inter 1?s face Round Towers on Sat at 6.30. Summer Camp dates are as follows, July Monday 20- Friday 24 (VHI CULCAMP), August Monday 17-Friday 21 August & Monday 24-Friday 28. Please be aware that the ticket book for the Leinster Football Final on July 12th will close early this week. Dublin are contesting the Minor & Senior Finals vs. Kildare. Congrats to Colm Carr(captain), Naill O?Dea, Philip Ryan, Kevin Twomey & the Dublin Minor Footballers on their win over Offaly. Well done to Barry, Kevin, Paddy & Declan on their win over Westmeath. Senior Ladies Footballers qualified for the Champo Semi-Finals vs. Parnells beating Kilmacud. Best of Luck to our Feile Girls Footballers this weekend in the All-Ireland Feile which starts this Fri in Kildare. Best wishes to Alan Nolan & the Dublin Hurlers in the Leinster Final vs. Kilkenny. Hard Luck to Cian, Sean & Willie on their exit from the Nicky Rackard Cup. Senior, Inter & Junior Hurlers had good league wins over Olafs, Cuala and Round Towers. Junior Footballers had a hard fought win over Round Towers. Well done to Olivia Smartt, Aisling King, Michelle O' Reilly, Deirdre Murphy and Sinead Farrelly who were part of the Dublin U16 Ladies Leinster Semi-Final win over Laois. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk with a Jackpot of E10600.
