June 2009 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 23 Jun 2009

Congrats to the U12 Girls who won the Div 1 Football League with fantastic win over Foxrock-Cabinteely in the league Final. Feile Fundraiser Quiz for the U14 Girls Footballers takes place in Russell Pk from 8pm on Fri. Well done to Sean Sullivan, Willie Bourke & Cian O'Mahony who advanced to the Nicky Richard Semi-Finals with Fingal defeating Louth. Congrats to Alan Nolan & the Dublin Hurlers on their superb win over Wexford. Best of luck to Kevin, Barry, Paddy & Declan with the Dublin Footballers vs. Westmeath on Sun. Best of luck to Collie Carr, Naill O'Dea, Philip Ryan, Kevin Twomey & Dublin Minor Footballers this Sat at 5.15 vs. Offaly in Tullamore in the Leinster Semi-Final. Senior Footballers beat Fingallians in the League. Senior 2 Footballers had 3 great wins over Marks, Sygne St & Kilmacud. Inter 2 Footballers beat N Mearnog & Crumlin while the Junior 7?s beat Liffey Gaels. Plenty of games in Russell Pk this wk. Senior Hurlers face N Olaf tonight. Senior Ladies Footballers face Kilmacd in Champo on Wed. Minor Footballers face St Vincents at 7.45 on Wed. Senior Footballers face Ballymun on Thurs. Junior Footballers face Round Towers on Sat at 5.30. Inter Hurlers face Cuala at 6.30 on Sat. Summer Camp dates are as follows, July Monday 20- Friday 24 (VHI CULCAMP), August Monday 17-Friday 21 August & Monday 24-Friday 28. June 2009 Clubnotes - Week 3 - Tue, 16 Jun 2009

Mini-Leagues were a re-sounding success with 400 kids taking part. Saturday was a magical day and great credit is due to Declan McCarthy and his team of organisers. Well done to Sean Sullivan, Willie Bourke & Cian O'Mahony who advanced in the Nicky Richard with Fingal. The U11 Hurlers defeated Castleknock to win the Cup Final. Well done to Aodhan McEnerney, Ciaran Kellet, Mick Cussen & the Dublin U21 Hurlers who defeated Wexford and now face Kilkenny on July 15th in the Leinster Final. Best of luck to Alan Nolan vs Wexford on Sun in Nowlan Pk. Summer Camp dates are as follows, July Monday 20- Friday 24 (VHI CULCAMP), August Monday 17-Friday 21 August & Monday 24-Friday 28. All Grass Pitches in Russell Pk are NOT available on the following days this week, Tues(6pm-9pm), Thurs(6pm-9pm), Fri(6pm-9pm) & Sat(10am-5pm). This is due to the Mini-Leagues taking place. The All-Weather pitch is available for training. Well done to Barry, Paddy, Kevin, Declan & Alan on their wins with Dublin on Sun. Best of luck to Aodhan McEnerney, Ciaran Kellet, Mick Cussen who line out for the Dublin U21 Hurlers vs Wexford in their Leinster Semi-Final on Wed at 7.30 in Parnell Pk. Best of luck to Alan McCarrick, Cathal Doyle, Mark Ferguson who line out for the Dublin Junior Footballers vs Louth in their Leinster Semi-Final on Wed at 7.30 in Dundalk. Throw-in at 7.45. Junior Hurlers face Plunketts on Wed at 7.45 in the Phoenix Pk. Well done to Aodhan McEnerney, Ciaran Kellet, Mick Cussen & the Dublin U21 Hurlers who defeated Kildare and now face Wexford on June 10th. Well done to Alan McCarrick, Cathal Doyle, Mark Ferguson & the Dublin Junior Footballers who defeated Kildare and now face Cavan on June 10th. Senior 2 Footballers had a fine away league win against Skerries. Junior A Footballers beat Plunketts while the Junior Ladies Footballers beat Clontarf. The annual club Mini-League will take place from Mon June 8th to Sat June 13th. Members and non members welcome.Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk with a Jackpot of E10000.
