November 2009 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 24 Nov 2009

Our Ladies Footballers just fell short in their quest for All-Ireland Glory, losing by a point to Brian Boru of Tipperary in a real battle. You have done the club proud and gave us some great moments this year. Special thanks to St Peregrines for hosting the final. Reminder to all members to return your tickets for the club car draw ASAP. The draw has been delayed until Sat Dec 12th. The club Xmas party will also be held on the same night. U21 Footballers progressed to Champo Semi-Finals beating St Vincents. Inter Hurlers had a good league win over Good Counsel. Busy week ahead with Junior A Footballers facing Clontarf at 8.30pm in Russell Pk on Wed in their Promotion P/O Final. Senior 2 Footballers face Parnells at 8pm on Friday in Balgriffin in their P/O Semi-Final. Senior Footballers face St Vincents/Fingallians on Sun in their relegation P/O at 11 in Russell Pk. Inter 2 Footballers face St Judes at 11 on Sun in Russell Pk in their P/O Semi-Final. Inter 1 Footballers face Naomh Mearnog in their relegation P/O at 12.30 on Sun in Russell Pk. Vital games so big support needed. Club AGM takes place on Sun Dec 13th. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in The Roselawn with a Jackpot of E14400. Our deepest smypthaies are extended to the Byrne & Roche families on their recent loss.

November 2009 Clubnotes - Week 3 - Tue, 17 Nov 2009

Reminder to all members to return your tickets for the club car draw ASAP. The draw has been delayed until Sat Nov 28th due to the slow return of tickets. The club website is currently offline at the moment due to a server move but should be back running soon. All roads lead to Nowlan Pk this Sunday as our Ladies Senior Footballers face Brian Boru of Tipperary in the All-Ireland Final. Throw-in at 2pm. Massive support needed from everyone. U21 Footballers face St Vincents in Champo Q-Final this Sat at 2.45pm in Russell Pk. Please note the Senior & Inter Hurling fixtures scheduled for this Sun may switch to Sat evening as a result of the Ladies Final. Senior 2 Footballers reached the Play-offs beating St Annes. U21 Hurlers narrowly went down to Cuala. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in The Vineyard with a Jackpot of E14000.

Reminder to all members to return your tickets for the club car draw ASAP. The draw has been delayed until Sat Nov 28th due to the slow return of tickets. A great weekend on the playing fields with our Senior Ladies Footballers qualifying for the All-Ireland Final with an impressive victory over Breaffy of Mayo. Final will be on Nov 22nd vs. Brian Boru of Tipperary. Senior Hurlers were crowned Champo Winners when they beat St Vincent?s in impressive fashion. U14 Footballers captured their league title as well. U21 Footballers face Ballyboden St Enda?s in Champo at 7.30pm tonight (Tues) in Sancta Maria. U21 Hurlers in Champo action on Sat at 2.45pm vs. Cuala in Russell Pk. Senior 2 Footballers face St Annes on Sun at 11am in Bohernabreena. Hard luck to Coolmine Community School who lost out in their schools final.  Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk with a Jackpot of E14000.

Reminder to all members to return your tickets for the club car draw ASAP. The draw has been delayed by 4 weeks due to the slow return of tickets. Big weekend of Championship ahead, Senior Hurlers face St Vincents at 2.45pm on Sat in O'Toole Pk in Champo Final. Ladies Senior Footballers face Breaffy of Mayo at 2pm on Sun in All-Ireland Semi-Final. The game is in Breaffy so make sure you pack a big lunch and head off early on Sun; All-Ireland Semi-Final?s don?t come round too often. Big support needed for both teams. Congrats to the U16 Camogie team who retained their league title. U21 Footballers face Ballyboden St Enda?s in Champo at 7.30pm in Sancta Maria on Tues Nov 10th. Senior Footballers lost out to Kilmacud while the Senior 2s beat St Pats(P) and their game vs St Annes was postponed. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk with a Jackpot of E13800.
