October 2009 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 27 Oct 2009

Reminder to all members to return your tickets for the club car draw. This is a very important fund-raiser so keep pushing. Ladies Footballers were crowned Leinster Champions after a brilliant win over Garrycastle of Westmeath. U14 Camogie beat Na Fianna in win the File. Senior Hurlers defeated Naomh Olaf to reach the Senior B Champo Final and make a return to Senior A next year. Our Minor Footballers lost out to St Vincents in their Champo Semi-Final. Inter Hurlers had a good league win versus Fingallians Senior Footballers face Kilmacud in League this Sun at 11 in Russell Pk. Senior 2's face St Pats(P) at 8.30pm in League on Wed in Russell Pk. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in The Roselawn Inn with a Jackpot of E13600.

Reminder to all members to return your tickets for the club car draw. Draw takes place on Oct 31st. This is a very important fund-raiser so keep pushing. Big weekend of Championship ahead. Senior Hurlers face Naomh Olaf at 3pm on Sat in O'Toole Pk in Champo Semi-Final. Minor Footballers face St Vincents at 11am on Sun in Russell Pk in Champo Semi-Final. Ladies Senior Footballers face Garrycastle at 1pm on Sun in Leinster Football Final. Inter Hurlers face Fingallians in League this Tues at 7.45 in Lawless Pk Big support needed for all teams. Hard luck to the Ladies U16 Footballers who lost out to Ballyboden in their Champo Final. Senior Footballers had a good win over St Marys while the Senior 2's & Inter 1's lost out to Erins Isle & Lucan. Junior B's game vs Liffey Gaels was postponed. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in The Vineyard with a Jackpot of E13400. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Walsh Family on their tragic loss

Senior Ladies Footballers reached the Leinster Championship Final with a decisive win over St. Fortcherns of Carlow. Final will take place on Sun Oct 25th at 1pm in Athy. Congrats to Eoin Kennedy who capped a great year by winning the World Championship Doubles Crown along with Cavan's Michael Finnegan. Well done to Colleen Barrett on her all-star nomination. Minor Footballers lost out to Ballyboden but still win the group. They face St Vincents in the semi-final. Junior Hurlers beat Ballyboden in League. Senior Hurlers face Ballinteer St John's this Wed at 9.15pm in League in Russell Pk. Senior Footballers face St Marys on Sat at 5pm in Russell Pk. Senior 2's face Erin's Isle at 5pm in Finglas with the Inter 1's facing Lucan at 5pm in Russell Pk. Time to get behind the Car Draw; tickets are available from Paddy Davey on 086-8229-312. Senior Ladies Footballers reached the Leinster Champo Semi-Finals with a decisive win over Balyna of Kildare. Semi-Final will take place this Sun. Check the website later this week for further details on venue & time. Big support needed. Hard luck to the Senior Camogie who lost out to Skerries in their Champo Final. Senior 2's Footballers lost out to St Pats in their Champo Semi-Final. Congrats to Eoin Kennedy who won "The Golden Gloves" Handball Tournament in Belfast. Time to get behind the Car Draw; tickets are available from Paddy Davey on 086-8229-312. This draw is very important to the club's fundraising plans. Inter 1 & 2 Footballers had good league wins over Erin's Isle & St Finians(N). Senior Hurlers face Ballinteer St John's in League on Sat at 5pm in Marley Pk. Minor Footballers face Ballyboden in the final round robin Champo game on Sun at 11 in Russell Pk. Junior Hurlers face Ballyboden at 12 on Sun in Russell Pk. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk with a Jackpot of E13000
