November 2010 Clubnotes - Week 5 - Tue, 30 Nov 2010

Congrats to Eoin Kennedy who capped a brilliant year by being crowned the Handball All Star Player of the Year. Big night ahead this Saturday with Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh tribute night from 7pm. Tickets are E20. Tickets are very limited so make sure you snap up the last few. The 'GA' Disco reunion was a big success and special thanks to all involved. U21 Footballers in Champo game vs Good Counsel last Sat was called off. It may be on this Sat at 2.30pm in Russell Pk. Reminder to all members the club will host the Dubs Stars on Jan 1st. Big night ahead this Friday with the re-union of the St Brigids GAA Disco. 9pm til late, a night not be missed. Congrats to Ailish McKenna & Katie Murphy on receiving sports scholarships from DIT. U21 Footballers in Champo this Sat vs Good Counsel at 2.30pm in Russell Pk. Camogie/Hurling Workshop Will Take Place on Monday Nov 29th in Russell Pk. All mentors and members welcome. Special thanks to our out going executive for their superb work in 2010. We would like to welcome on board the new members of the executive for 2011. U21 ?A? Footballers bowed out to St Sylvester?s in a tight game. U21 B?s progressed against O?Dwyers and now face Good Counsel in the next round. Inter Footballers narrowly lost out to Lucan in their Promotion Play-off Final. U11 Hurlers captured their league in the final round of fixtures. November 2010 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Wed, 10 Nov 2010

Reminder to all members that the Club AGM will take place this Sun evening in Russell Pk. Congrats to our Minor Hurlers who put in a terrific display to beat Ballyboden to win the Championship. Also congrats to the U16 Camogie completed the League & Championship double. Well done to Sorcha Furlong who was named Dublin Ladies Footballers of the Year. Senior 2 Footballers retained their AFL2 status with a gutsy extra time win over Olafs. Inter Footballers progressed to the AFL Promotion decider beating Man O War. They will face Lucan this Sun at 11 with venue TBC. U21 Hurlers went out of the Champo to an injury goal. U21 A & B Footballers in Champo action this Sat. As face Slyvesters at 2.45pm in Broomfield while the Bs face O?Dwyers at 2.45pm in Russell Pk. Big support needed for all games. Reminder to all members the club will host the Dubs Stars on Jan 1st. U12 & U14 Girls won their Champo Finals. U14s beat St Peregrines while the U12s beat Templeogue SS. U11s went down narrowly to Foxrock. U16 Hurlers won their league with a good win over Ballinteer. Senior Hurlers retained their AFL1 league status with a good victory over O Tooles. U13 Boys Footballers finished off their winning league campaign beating Ballyboden. Big weekend of games ahead; U21 Hurlers face Ballinteer St John?s in Champo this Sat at 2.45pm in Russell Pk. Minor Hurlers face Ballyboden in Champo Final this Sun at 10.30 in O Toole Pk. Inter Footballers face Man O War away on Sun at 11 in the Promotion P/O. Senior 2 Footballers face Naomh Olaf in their Relegation P/O in Pairc Ui Bhrain this Sun at 11.
