October 2010 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 26 Oct 2010

A real gutsy performance from our minor hurlers saw them defeat Plunketts to reach the champ final. Our inter footballers defeated Kilmacud to reach the promotion play offs. Very important game this sat for our senior hurlers vs O Tooles at 3pm in Blunden Drive. Club agm will take place on Sun Nov 27th. Club xmas party on Dec 18th. Club lotto with jackpot of 8800 will take place in Myo's this friday. Please note change of day.

Our Senior 2 Footballers put in an awesome display against Cuala to becrowned Dublin Intermediate Champions. Well done to all. Hard luck toour Senior Footballers who lost out to Kilmacud in the SFC decider. Weare all very proud of you. It was great to see such fantastic support. Special thanks to Bradys for sponsoring the best dressed Juvenileawards. Best of luck to Kilmacud in their Leinster Campaign. InterFootballers face Round Towers© in League at 7.45 this evening inRussell Pk. Seniors face Round Towers© in their final league game onSat at 4pm. Senior 2s face St Marks at 4pm on Sat in Russell Pk.Inters face Kilmacud at 4pm on Sat in Silver Pk. Minor Hurlers inChampo Semi-Final this Sun at 11 vs Plunketts in Martin Savage Pk.Well done to the U12 Girls who beat Foxrock to reach their Champofinal. U16 girls were beaten by Clontarf in their Shield semi-final.U11 girls beat Fingallians in Cup semi-final. U13 girls were edged outby Ballyboden in their Champo semi-final. Lotto draw with a jackpot of E8400 takes place this Thursday in The Vineyard. Reminder to allmembers the club will host the Dubs Stars on Jan 1st.

All roads lead to Parnell Pk this Sun after our Senior 1 & 2 Footballers reached the Senior & Intermediate Finals after great Semi-Final victories over Oliver Plunketts and Naomh Barrog. The Senior 2s face Cuala at 2.15pm. The Seniors face Kilmaucd Crokes at 4pm. Make sure you all wear your red & white for such an important day for the club. U16 Hurlers had a good win over Naomh Barrog in the Shield. Senior Ladies Footballers beat Parnells in League. Junior B Footballers were promoted to AFL6 after beating Ballymun. Hard luck to Senior Camogie who lost out to Lisdowney of Kilkenny in the Leinster Champo. U14 Girls Footballers beat Castleknock to reach the Champo Final. U13 Girls face Ballyboden this Sat at 3pm in Russell Pk in Champo Semi-Final. Congrats to Elaine Kelly on her all star nomination. Reminder to all members the club will host the Dubs Stars on Jan 1st. Lotto draw with a jackpot of E8200 takes place this Thursday in Russell Pk. Hard luck to our Senior Hurlers who narrowly lost out to Kilmacud Crokes in the Q-Final. Minor Footballers suffered their 2nd 1 point defeat in the Champo to be edged out on a Semi-Final spot. Senior 1 & 2 Footballers in Champo Semi-Finals this weekend. Senior 1s face Oliver Plunketts at 6pm on Sat in Parnell Pk. Senior 2s face Naomh Barrog or Scoil Ui Chonail on Sun at 2.30pm in Parnell Pk. Junior B Footballers face Ballymun on Sun at 10.30 in Russell Pk with a win securing promotion to AFL 6. U13 Footballers won their league with a convincing win over Westmanstown Gaels. U14 Footballers beat St Maurs in League. U12 Hurlers beat St Sylvester?s. U15 Hurlers face Whitehall in Champo this Sun at 11.30 in Ellenfield. U16 Hurlers face Naomh Barrog in Shield this Sat at 3.30pm in Pairc Barrog. Lotto draw with a jackpot of E8000 takes place this Thursday in The Vineyard. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Carr family on their recent loss.
