April 2011 Clubnotes - Week 4 - Tue, 26 Apr 2011

Senior & Senior 2 Footballers in Champo this Wed & Sat. Senior 2s face Good Counsel at 7pm in Blakestown on Wed. Seniors face Sygne St on Sat at 4pm in Newcastle. Junior Footballers face St Vincents on Tues at 7 in Russell Pk in League. Well done to the Junior Camogie who beat Faughs to make it 3 from 3 in the league. U13 Hurlers play Castleknock on Tues at 7pm in Somerton. U13B Hurlers play Good Counsel on Tues at 7pm in Russell Pk. U16B Footballers in Champo Replay this Thurs at 7pm vs Lucan in Russell Pk. Hard luck to Barry, Sean, Paddy & Declan on their loss to Cork. Best of luck to Alan & Daire on Sun vs Kilkenny. The Club History Committee will meet on May 9th at 8pm; anyone who would like to be part of the committee please do not hesitate and come down on the evening. Quiz Night fundraiser for the Adult Ladies Camogie takes place this Fri at 8pm in the lounge. Table of four E40. Club Lotto takes place in The Vineyard this Thursday with a Jackpot of E12600. Congrats to Inter footballer Mick Gahan and his fiancee Denise on the birth of their first child, Michael. Junior Hurlers fundraising Trad/Ballad Night on May 20th with Celtic Wings. Well done to Eoin Kennedy who beat Ricky McCann to progress to the All-Ireland 40 by 20 Semi-Finals. On Sun, our Feile team will hold a Cake & Book Sale and Coffee Morning in Our Lady's Parish Centre Castleknock for all morning masses. Junior Hurlers beat Olafs while the Inter Hurlers face Trinity Gaels at 8.15pm on Wed in Russell Pk. Junior 1s & Inters had good cup wins over Thomas Davis & Clontarf. Minor Footballers beat Thomas Davis. Well done to Daire Plunkett & Alan Nolan on their draw against Kilkenny. Well done to Paddy, Barry, Kevin, Sean, Cian & Declan on reaching the League Final. Well done to Elaine, Colleen, Ailish, Sorcha & Noelle on reaching the Ladies NFL Final after beating Kerry. U13 Footballers opened their league campaign with a win over Cuala. U13B?s also beat Cuala. U14 Footballers just edged out by Fingal Ravens. U15 Footballers beaten by Davis. U16 Footballers beat Slys. U16B?s lost out to Na Fianna. Busy weekend of action ahead with Senior 1 & 2 Footballers in League action on Sat at 6pm in Russell Pk. Inters away to St Finians(N) on Sat. Jun 1?s face Raheny on Sun at 11 in Russell.
