February 2011 Clubnotes - Week 2 - Tue, 22 Feb 2011

Level 1 Hurling & Football coaching course will take place from Mon Feb 28th. Further details available from website and Paul O Brien on 087-9154748. This is a follow on course from the hugely successful Foundation Level Course. Best of luck to Alan McCarrick, Sean Murray, Cian Mullins, Gavin McIntyre & Philip Ryan with the Dublin U21?s vs. Meath this Wed at 7.30pm in Navan in the Leinster Champo. Hard luck to our U21 Footballers who lost out to Ballyboughal by a point in their Champo Semi-Final. Well done to Barry Cahill, Declan Lally, Paddy Andrews, Sean Murray & Kevin Bonner on their win over Cork. Best of luck on Sat vs Kerry. Well done to Daire Plunkett & Alan Nolan on their win over Tipp. Reminder to all members that membership is due. It is very important all members are paid up as they are not insured to play otherwise. Adult Football Leagues commence this Sun with our Senior 1s away to Parnells at 10.30, Senior 2s away to St Annes at 10.30, Inters at home to Judes at 10.30, Junior 1s at home to Judes at 12 & Junior 3s at home to St Finians at 12. Junior 7s at home to Cabinteely at 3pm. Hard luck to Daragh Doyle, Ronan McKenna, Paul Winters & Dublin North on their Leinster Semi-Final loss. Club Presentation night will take place on Friday March 4th. The White Collar Boxing versus Plunketts takes place on March 16th. Lotto draw will take place this Friday in Myos with a jackpot of E11000.

U21 Footballers Champo Semi-Final vs Ballyboughal will take place this Tues at 8.30pm in Russell Pk. Reminder to all members that the Core Strength and Conditioning course takes place this Friday from 7pm in Russell Pk. It?s a brilliant course and a must for all. Any queries contact Paul O'Brien @ 087-9154748. Congrats to Eoin Kennedy who defeated Robbie McCarthy 21-12, 21-15 on Sun to win the Leinster Senior Singles. Reminder to all members that membership is due. It is very important all members are paid up as they are not insured to play otherwise. Inter Footballers face Kilmacud this Thurs at 8.30pm in Joy Cup in Russell Pk. Special thanks to Cahir GAA in Tipperary who hosted our Inter Footballers for the weekend. U21 Footballers Champo Semi-Final vs Ballyboughal due to be played this Thurs has been postponed. Well done to Daragh Doyle, Ronan McKenna, Paul Winters & Dublin North who progressed to the Leinster Semi-Final beating Kilkenny CBS. Paul scoring 0-12. Well done to Sean Murray, Barry Cahill, Declan Lally, Paddy Andrews & Kevin Bonner on their League win over Armagh. Well done to Elaine Kelly, Noelle Healy, Sorcha Furlong, Ailish McKenna & Colleen Barrett who all started for Dublin in the league win over Armagh. Adult football Cups resume this Sun with 4 of our 6 teams in action. Club Presentation night will take place on Friday March 4th. The White Collar Boxing versus Plunketts takes place on March 16th.
