May 2011 Clubnotes - Week 5 - Tue, 31 May 2011

Congrats to Ken Nyhan who managed the Dublin U14 Girls to their All-Ireland Semi-Final win over Galway. Representatives included Aoibheann Lynch, Katie Nyhan, Ann-Marie Troy & Niamh O'Neill. Well done to Donal Timoney who won the Dublin U14 one wall Champo. Hard luck to Tagdh Branigan who lost in the U16 Final. The annual club Mini-Leagues will take place from Mon June 13th to Sat June 18th. Go to www.stbrigidsgaa.com to download your application form. Special thanks to everyone who supported the hugely successful Golf Classic. Well done to the organising committee. U13A Footballers beat Na Fianna in League. U14 Footballers beat Finians(S). Well done to Daire & Alan on their win over Offaly. Best of luck to Barry, Sean & Declan vs Laois. Jun A Footballers in Cup Semi-Final vs Maurs & Jun B Footballers vs Vincents this evening. Both at 7.30 in Russell Pk. Senior Footballers face Na Fianna in League on Wed at 7.30 in Mobhi Rd. Senior 2's face Cuala away. Inters face Man O'War away as well. Jun C Footballers face Cabinteely in League on Thurs at 7.30 in Russell Pk. Well done to Jack Kelly, Dabhach Dineen & Aodhran who were part of the Dublin Juniors win over Wicklow. Senior Hurlers beat Lucan while the Juniors drew with Boden. Best of luck to all students who commence their Junior & Leaving Cert. U13A Footballers beat Na Fianna in League. Congrats to the U16 Footballers who beat Sylvesters in a terrific 'A' Champo Shield Final win. U13A Hurlers beat Sylvesters to go top of the league. U13B beat Clontarf. Senior 1 & 2 Footballers had league wins over Kilmacud & Ballinteer. Jun A & B teams were edged out by Castleknock & Margarets. Jun C's beat Liffey Gaels. U15 Hurlers beat Crumlin. Several important games this week. Senior Ladies Footballers face Na Fianna this Wed in a winner takes all Champo game. Senior Hurlers face Lucan in League on Wed. Both at 7.30pm in Russell Pk. Junior Hurlers face Boden this evening at 7.30 in Russell. Inter Footballers face N.Mearnog at 7.30 in Russell in a re-fixed league game. Senior Hurlers away to Crokes on Sat at 6.30pm. Best of luck to Daire &, Alan this Sun vs Offaly in their Champo opener. Special return bus from Croker straight back to the club for Tipp vs Cork. E5 for the bus. Congrats to both our Feile Hurlers & Camogie teams who won their grades. Hurlers beating St Marks & Camogie beating Whitehall. U16 Footballers progressed to the A Shield Final beating Castleknock. They face St Slyvesters this Sat at 3.30pm in the Final in Russell Pk. Congrats to Aisling King, Olivia Smartt, Deirdre Murphy, Shauna Hinkson & the Dublin Ladies Minor Footballers on their Leinster Truimph over Meath. Well done to Ken & Judy Murphy are part of the management team. Best of luck to Aodhan Mc, Cian O Mahony, Mick Cussen, Wille Bourke & Fingal this Sat vs London. Senior Hurlers were edged out by Vincents in Champo. Senior Camogie opened their League account beating Erins Isle. Senior Ladies Footballers beat Fingallians in Champo. Big Champo game for them this Wed vs Boden at 7.30pm in Russell Pk. Junior Ladies also beat Scoil Ui Chonail in League. Senior Footballers away to Ballymun on Wed at 7.30pm & home to Crokes on Sat at 6.30pm. Plenty more fixtures on website. What a day in Croke Pk. Congrats to Daire & Alan on their fantastic achievement. It was a special day for everyone in Dublin who has put in tremendous work over the past 20 years. Members can now pay their membership online at www.stbrigidsgaa.com. Senior 2 Footballers had a good win over Good Counsel in Champo while the Seniors were edged out by TSS. Both sides are back out in Champo this Wed & Fri. Senior 2?s face Bullymun at 8.30pm in Parnell Pk on Wed while the Seniors face St Marks on Fri at 7pm in O?Toole Pk. U13A Hurlers had a good win over Castleknock. Minor Hurlers drew with Davids. Junior B Footballers beat St Vincents in League. Jun A & B Footballers in League this Tues. Jun A away to Naomh Olaf and Jun B in Russell Pk vs Trinity Gaels at 7.15pm. Jun A & B also in League on Sun. Jun A vs Good Counsel at 11 in Russell. Jun B vs Starlights in Collinstown Lane at 11.
