October 2011 Clubnotes - Week 1 - Tue, 4 Oct 2011

Junior 'A' Footballers face Skerries in their Champo Q-Final this Tuesday at 8pm in Russell Pk. Congrats to the U13A Hurlers who captured their League title beating Faughs. U16 Hurlers progressed to the Champo Semi-Finals beating Thomas Davis. Hard luck to the U15 Hurlers who were beaten by Lucan in their Champo Semi-Final.Senior Footballers edged out Na Fianna in Champo. Inter Footballers beat St Pergherines to reach the Champo Semi-Finals. Minor Hurlers had a good Champo win over St Vincents. New opening hours for our new club shop. Friday 7pm - 8pm and Sat 10am to 11.30am. Senior Hurlers face Vincents in Champo Q-Final on Fri at 6.45pm in Parnell Pk. Plenty of games this Sat in Russell Pk at 3.30pm with our U13, U14 & U16 Footballers all in action. U15 Footballers face Slys on Sun at 11.30 in Bridgefield in the 'A' Shield Semi-Final. Minor Footballers face Naomh Mearnog at 11 in Champo this Sun in Russell Pk. Club Lotto takes place in Russell Pk this Thursday with a Jackpot of E15000. We have collect 110 old mobile phones so far. We need 90 more to get our new AED. No matter how old the phone is please drop it into the club bar. Spleodar Irish club continues this Thurs from 7pm-9pm in hall. Club night at the dogs will take place on Fri Oct 21st in Harolds Cross.

'Sam?'will come to the Club Nursery on Oct 22nd from 9am ? 11am. Scrap weekend will also take place on Oct 22nd/23rd. Any old metal items would be greatly appreciated. This is a great fundraising opportunity. Check out the website for more information. Club night at the dogs will take place on Fri Oct 21st in Harolds Cross.Senior 2 Footballers face Cuala in Champo on Sat 2.30 in O Toole Pk. Senior Footballers face Crokes in Champo this Sat at 5.15 in Parnell Pk. Inter Footballers face Man O War in their Junior A Champo S-Final this Sun at 2.15 in Parnell Pk. U16 Hurlers face Judes this Sat at 3.30 in Russell Pk in their Champo Semi-Final. Minor Hurlers face Round Towers in Champo on Sun at 11 in Clondalkin. Congrats to the U14 Footballers who gained promotion after beating Fingal Ravens. Our U13A Footballers also beat Na Fianna and U13B are on track to win their League. U15 Footballers were edged out by Slys in Shield Semi-Final. Minor Footballers beat Mearnog. Senior Hurlers reached the Champo Semi-Final with a win over Vincents. Ladies Minor Footballers beat Barrog in Champo. U14 Ladies Footballers beat Boden to reach Champo Final. New opening hours for our new club shop. Friday 7pm - 8pm and Sat 10am to 11.30am. Club Lotto takes place in The Vineyard this Thursday with a Jackpot of E15000. We have collect 140 old mobile phones so far. We need 60 more to get our new AED. 'Sam' will come to the Nursery this Sat from 9am - 11am. Make sure you get down there to get your photo taken. Scrap weekend will take place this Sat & Sun. Any old metal items would be greatly appreciated. This is a great fundraising opportunity. Foundation & Level One coaching Courses will take place in Nov. This is a great opportunity for mentors to pick up more skills. Check out the club website for more info. Club night at the dogs will take place this Fri in Harolds Cross. Senior Hurlers face O Tooles in their Champo Semi on Wed at 6.45 in Parnell Pk. Hard luck to our Inter & Senior 2 Footballers who were edged out in their Champo games. U16 Hurlers lost narrowly to Judes in their Champo Semi. Minor Hurlers fought back brilliantly to beat Round Towers in Champo. Senior Footballers beat Crokes and now face Ballyboden next Sat at 4.30 in O Toole Pk. U13 Camogie reached the Div 1 Champo Final beating Vincents & face Lucan in the final in the 12th lock on Sun at 4. U16 Camogie face Castleknock in their Champo Semi on Tues at 6.30 in Russell Pk. Minor Footballers face Lucan on Sun in Champo at 11 in the 12th lock. Ladies Minor Footballers reached the Champo Final beating St Annes. U13A Hurlers beat Erins Isle & U13B Hurlers drew with St Peregrines. New opening hours for our new club shop. Friday 7pm - 8pm and Sat 10am to 11.30am. Club Lotto takes place in The Roselawn this Thursday with a Jackpot of E15000. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the O?Mahony Family on their recent loss

Make sure you get signed up for the new pitch scheme. With more than E50k already raised, we need a final push for the E100k target. 'Sam' came to the Nursery on Sat. It was a great occasion & loads of photos are now on the club website. Scrap weekend was a huge success and special thanks to everyone who helped out. Club night at the dogs was a great success with everyone enjoying a great night. Hard luck to our Senior Hurlers who lost out to O'Tooles in their Champo Semi. Well done to our Senior Footballers who beat Ballyboden to advance to the Semi-Finals of the Champo were they will face Ballymun on Sat at 4.30pm in Parnell Pk. Congrats to our U13A & B Footballers who won the Div 1 & Div 7 Leagues last Sat. Hard luck to our U13 & U16 Camogie girls who lost out in their Champo Finals. Our Minor Footballers reached the Champo Semi-Finals beating Lucan. Minor Hurlers face St Davids on Sun in Champo at 11 in Russell Pk. We have collected140 old mobile phones so far.
