In a tough game which saw Brian Moloney get a broken nose and some dental damage unfortunately. Brigids superior panel proved the winner. From the outset Fred was deployed as a third midfielder which worked well. At half time the score was 1-5 to 0-5 to Peregines. But at half time Veg was introduced and turned the game with his first touch with a goal. In the first ten minutes of the second half Brigids scored 3-2 with a wonder goal from Fred which will be a contender for goal of the season. Paul Whitty who amounted 7 points was a constant treat throughout. Overall it was a good display and fair play to Mick Lynch as he is working wonders.
