In a game with a gale force wind Brigids who played the better football went in losing at half time with the wind due to three suicide goals conceded. From here it was going to be uphill playing againist the wind. In the second half Brigids out scored Finians but couldn't pull back the half time deficit. Best for Brigids were Dayo Brennan and Tony Hughes
