U14 Camogie Team Win Dublin Feile Conceding No Scores in the Process - Tue, 9 May 2006

St Brigids U14 Camogie team finished a great weekend of Camogie by bringing the feile shield home to Russell Park. During the 2 days of competition the team kept a clean sheet throughout.

3. St Brigids 4-4 points St Finans 0-0 (Semi-Final)

Final - St Brigids 6-9 Setanta 0-0

St Brigids got a flying start with an opening goal from Laura Winters. This was quickly followed by a second goal from Anita O'Brien.  Ellen Hayden quickly followed with an excellent point. Aisling King was fouled on the 21 yard line and Laura Skehan converted the resulting free. Brigids finished the half with further points from Ellen Hayden and Aisling King.

Brigids continued its wining form in the second half with a quick goal and a point from Ellen Ha y den.  Great defending from the back line ensured another clean sheet with excellent displays from Marie Hegarty, Ella O'Doherty and Eimear Davey.  Midway through the second half , substitute Ruth Dargan scored a well executed goal.  In the closing stages of the match , Aisling King and Sinead Farrelly score d a goal and a point.  The l ast point of the match fell to captain Laura Winters.  Well done to the girls & a special thank-you to the large crowd who turned out to support the team.  Big thanks to the management team of Aodh, Ken, Anne & Catherine
