Senior Hurlers 2nd Half Fightback Falls Short Against St Vincents - Mon, 1 Oct 2007

St Vincents 2-13 St Brigids 3-5

St Vincents speed out of the blocks proved the decisive factor against our Senior Hurlers in their 2nd Championship game of the group stage. Vincents notched up 2-5 before we registered our first score of the game. The lads fought back bravely in the 2nd half with goalkeeper Alan Nolan firing home two goals, both 20 yard frees. The lads now turn their attentions to the group decider against Crumlin with the winner going through to the Quarter-Finals. A meeting of the Dublin Hurling clubs taking place in the Senior Championship will take place tonight to decide the next round of fixtures in order for Dublin to have a Leinster representative.
