Inter 2 Footballers Grind Out Impressive Away Win Against Naomh Mearnog - Thu, 17 Apr 2008

Four monstrous first half points from the boot of Joe Cassidy provided to be decisive factor as St Brigids Intermediate 2 footballers triumphed over Naomh Mearnog in AFL Division 4. Cassidy's scoring exploits were capably supported by the industrious full forward pairing of Mark Kehir and Seamus Lynam, each of whom grabbed two points each. The lads will look to build on this excellent team performance on Saturday evening, when they face St Mary's of Saggart at 5pm in Russell Park.
