Senior Camogie Continue Upward Curve defeating Ballyoboden with Ease in League - Tue, 29 Apr 2008

St Brigids 2-15 Ballyboden 1-2

The girls had a good win against Ballyboden last Tuesday. Best for St Brigid's were new players Eimear O'Leary and Sherry Mannion along with Annie Kirwan and Katie Murphy who was playing her 1st game back after a few weeks out with injury.

Emma Sweeney had a super game at wing forward 1-6 from play from this young girl was just a delight to watch, also on top form was Ash Kelly who scored 1-3, but this game was afine team performance and the St Brigid's backs were on top of their game from the word go and never let boden into the game from the off. The girls have a few very -hard games ahead and with some big name players out this will be a big test for the team!!

The girls face Ballinteer St Johns this Tuesday at 7pm in Russell Pk.
