Junior A Footballers Make Champo Semi-Finals with Fine Display - Fri, 18 Jul 2008

St Brigids 3-10 Raheny 1-6

Well done to the Junior A Footballers who progressed to the Championship Semi-Final with an impressive display against Raheny. The foundations were laid in the first half with Mark McDaid scoring two goals, both off his left boot. After playing against the wind & up the hill, the lads led 2-4 to 0-4 at the break.

Raheny brought the game back to five points soon after the restart but Neil Plunkett soon put the game out of their reach with a superb goal worked all the way up from the full back line. Well done to the lads and keep up the good work.
