Inter 2 Footballers Overcome Crumlin with Free Flowing Display - Fri, 11 Jul 2008

Two well taken goals mid way through the first half by Gordon Cribbons and Liam Greaney saw St Brigids Intermediate 2 footballers overcome the challenge of Crumlin in AFL 4 in Russell Park. The Castleknock men led 2-04 to 0-3 at the break and two quick-fire Willa Corrbett points straight after the restart extinguished any hope Crumlin had of a fight-back. Substitute Andrew Poole contributed a classy 1-01, however, score of the day went to Phil Kelly, who finished his storming run from corner back with a fabulous 30 yard point. The lads next league encounter is against Round Towers on July 19th.
