Junior Hurlers Make It Two From Two beating Naomh Olaf in League - Fri, 8 Apr 2011

Our Junior hurlers continued their positive start to their 2011 AHL 6 league campaign as they defeated Naomh Olaf 0-12 to 0-06 in Russell Park on Sunday morning. Eoin O'Brien's accuracy from placed balls was crucial throughout as his haul of 0-07 (4 frees, 2 65's) ensured the home side led from beginning to end.

However, it was the Brigids defence who emereged from the game with most praise, as sterling performances from Tim O Leary, Barry O Donnell, James Campbell and Willa Corbett reduced Olafs to only 0-06 over the entire 60 minutes.

Next up for the lads is an away tie against Liffey Gaels in 2 weeks time.
