U14 Footballers Recover From Slow Start to beat Hosts Ferbane in National Feile - Fri, 22 Jun 2012

Despite conceding 1-2 inside the opening 2 minutes our U14 Footballers fought back with great spirit to win their opening group game against hosts Ferane/Belmont.This was always going to be a tough game with Ferbane dominating underage football in Offaly for the past 5 years.The lads trailed 0-4 to 2-2 at half despite playing into a gale force wind in the opening half.

The game was level inside 1 minute of the restart with Daniel Kiely(above celebrating) poucing to finish to the net. The lads really upped the pressure and intensity of the game with some great tackling around the middle third. Next up is Clara at 10am on Saturday followed by O'Donovan Rossa at 12.30am.Lets get behind the lads. They showed great heart and determinaion today.
