Dinner Dance 2004

400 people packed into the sports hall in Tom Russell Park on Saturday  Jan 24th.  for the annual dinner dance. The occasion was a celebration of the club's outstanding and historic  achievements in 2003 and also an occasion to look forward with optimism and anticipation to 2004

Arriving at Russell Park we were met with towering flames lighting up the night sky, red carpet and a warm celebratory atmosphere , all pointing forward to a great nights celebration .

Following a superb meal the attendance were treated to a video presentation of the successes in 2003 , ranging from the U16,s to the Senior teams in both hurling and football , with a few "altar boys and bridgie 3 " for good measure. This was edited  & organised by Jim Clune and provided a superb reminiscence of 2003 . Well done Jim, it was a superb job !

Club member Damien O'Reilly (RTE) was M.C. for the night and introduced the after dinner speakers ,Micheal O'Muirtheartaigh,  Colm O'Rourke & Ger Loughnane .

Also in attendance were Mr. John Bailey (Chairman Dublin County Board) , Co.Board Secretary John Costello  and local politicians ,Junior Minister  Mr. Brian Lenihan T.D. and Mr. Joe Higgins T.D., Senator Tom Morrissey & Ned Ryan M.C.C. .

The organising committee are to be congratulated on their hard work in putting the night together .
