St Brigids GAA Punchestown Race Day is a Resounding Success

The Punchestown Race Day was a great success. A large crowd attended a brilliant days racing. We were also very lucky to get such a nice days weather. Kevin Ryan from "attheraces" was giving out the tips and many people won money on Kevin's banker bet of the day which won at 7/1. Micheal O Muircheartaigh was also in attendace and was the auctioneer on our brilliant prize of a coroporate box and race name sponsorship at Punchestown this autumn. The club also received great news yesterday when Fingal County Council approved funding of  ?50,000 towards the building of our new dressing room facilities were are soon due to start. Special thank has to be given to Michael Sweeney and Breda Cowen for their tremendous organising of the event and we are already looking forward to next years already.
